5 Our team We employ extensively trained and qualified staff members. Each of our arborists hold relevant City & Guilds NPTC qualifications as a minimum requirement, or are working toward them as part of our apprenticeship scheme. All personnel will also be provided with training in: RoSPA accredited health and safety training First aid Chapter 8 Traffic Management and NHSS18 The use of brushwood chippers and stump grinders Manual handling Safe use of mobile elevated work platforms All of our supervisors must hold a recognised level 3 qualification or higher, for example an Arboriculture Association Technician's Certificate. All managers must hold a recognised level 4 qualification or higher, for example a HND Aboriculture Diploma. NEBOSH or IOSH approved health and safety qualifications are also essential for management roles. We invest in the career progression of all of our employees through our internal management training course or through the provision of additional qualifications such as an ISA Certificate, relevant HND or health and safety qualifications. Our annual training programme, succession plan and apprenticeship scheme ensures that any skill gaps within the workforce are filled.
