The sides of the dumps will sloped at 28 o. it is proposed to stack along the 50meters mining limit left parallel to the water distrybuary-11 till reclamation The dumps will be stabilized with fast growing grasses and various mulches and bark. Study of preventive and control measures proposed for safety of workers Study of short term and long term impacts on sensitive targets such as endangered species of wildlife, plants and economically important crop, the historically important site, population of elderly / infants. To anticipate the impacts of proposed future mining operations on the environment. To prepare a detailed action plan for implementation of mitigative measures. To suggest preventive and mitigative measures to minimise adverse impacts and to maximize beneficial impacts. Suggest measures and recommendations for pollution control and its monitoring equipment/ system and organizational set up for maintenance of pollution control equipment. To suggest the formation of a core group responsible for implementation of environmental control and protective measures and monitoring of such implementation. To suggest a feedback mechanism enabling to make mid course corrections. To prepare a capital cost estimate and annual recurring cost for Environmental Management Plan. The EIA study will be focused on the following issues Application of Low and n Waste Technology (LNWT) in the mining process, Adoption of Reuse and Recycling technologies to reduce generation of wastes and optimize the production cost of the mine, and Progressive land reclamation measures and overburden management along with the production of limestone. Air Environment: Study, Assessment and Management of the potential sources of air pollution arising from the existing would be drilling, blasting, overburden waste dumps, haul roads, and transportation of ore in the vicinity. 12 P a g e

Study on present land use and proposed land use plan of the study area Socio- Economic Aspects Study of existing social infrastructure around the project site and Assessment of effect on local communities of the project and proposal of safeguard measures. Biological Environment Study, Assessment and Management of notified endangered species in the area, which will be effected due to the mining activities. Green Belt Development Plan Study, Assessment and Green Belt Development plan in scientific and planned manner on backfilled area, dumps and haulage road and along the boundary as a part of an on going programme. Health and Safety Study, Assessment and management Plan for Occupation Safety and Health, which is very closely related to productivity and good employer-employee relationship. 13 P a g e
