1 C O n n e c t i o n s THE METHANE EMISSIONS CONFERENCE November 2-3 The Westin Alexandria
2 WELCOME Welcome to CH4 Connections The event brings the natural gas community together to share their updates and expertise on methane emissions. This year, we re holding the conversation at the doorstep of Washington DC, home of agencies and organizations that will shape the future of emissions policy and practice in the United States. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will present their methane emissions reduction strategies and their progress toward the ambitious goals set by the Obama administration. You will also hear a diverse panel discuss state- and federal-level policies and regulations that affect the natural gas industry. Other keynote presentations will focus on addressing methane emissions globally, on toning down the rhetoric from all sides of the emissions debate, and on emerging technologies that are changing the world of emissions measurement and mitigation. Panels on methane reduction and measurement will explore some of these topics in more depth, while a panel featuring industry perspectives from Asia, Australia, and Europe will expand on the issue of methane emissions worldwide. During breaks and the first evening s reception, continue the conversation with speakers, panelists, exhibitors, and attendees. In addition to networking and presentation opportunities, the finest Washington DC attractions are just a short Metro ride from the venue. Thank you for your participation, and we hope to see you at future CH4 Connections events. 2 CH4 Connections 2016
