3 A reminder of the objectives The day comprised of 6 thought provoking debates on how the UK utility industry and consumers need to adapt if the UK is to keep the lights on, the water running and cut CO2 emissions We need to move from the When and the What to the How The objective of the debates were to achieve 3-4 actionable outcomes that we can collectively work on come Monday morning Every delegate had the opportunity to vote on the outcome they thought was the most important in the plenary s and further still, could pledge their interest in working on those outcomes post START by completing an interest card The ultimate objective was to provide a starting point from which all constituents (industry, government, charities, academia, consumers) will be able to build a smarter and more sustainable future IBM Corporation
