13 Project Benefits 1. 6,600 people free from waiting for hours to fetch water 2. 1,600 students will have adequate latrine stances & hand washing facilities 3. Reduction in sanitation related diseases 4. Reduction of tree cutting for wood fuel 5. Use of biogas as fuel will lead to reduction in greenhouse gas emissions 6. Bio-slurry (by-product of biogas process) will improve soil fertility 7. Tree planting at schools for wind breaks 8. Economic empowerment through microfinance funding
