2 1 GREEN LINE GREEN Line The GREEN line, which Dinak is launching with this new line of products designed for combined heat and power equipment, represents Dinak's commitment to the environment and will be associated with the rest of our product range designed to become an integral part of efficient and environmentally- friendly ( eco-friendly) installations in order to reduce CO2 emissions to the atmosphere. Other Dinak products to be linked to the GREEN line brand are: Chimneys and accessories for exhaust combustion products from biomass generators such as heaters or boilers using pellets, wooden blocks and briquettes. Biomass is a renewable energy source and represents an alternative to most commonly used fossil fuels, with a series of environmental advantages, notably its neutral CO2 cycle which makes no contribution to global warming. Chimneys for exhaust combustion products from condensing boilers Condensing boilers reduce the temperature of combustion products by extracting heat from the waste gases by condensing this water vapour, thus recovering its latent heat. improving its efficiency compared to traditional boilers Chimneys for exhaust combustion products from gas heat pumps. Gas heat pumps differ from conventional electric ones in the type of engine that drives the compressor. In the first case, a gas engine is used and in the second, an electric engine. One of the environmental advantages of this equipment is based on making use of the residual energy available in the engine's combustion products to produce hot water. Single and double flow humidity adjusting home ventilation systems with heat recovery units. Humidity adjusting ventilation systems adjust the ventilation flows to the degree of environmental humidity so that these flows constantly match the needs of each room, thus reducing heat losses In double flow systems with heat recovery, the contaminated air extracted from the home gives up part of its heat (in the winter) or coolness (summer) to the incoming air, using recovery units, thus notably reducing power consumption. Basic principles of combined heat and power Combined heat and power systems (CHP) are based on the simultaneous production of heat and electricity. Most of the energy generated today in power stations is lost in the atmosphere through exhaust combustion fumes. Combined heat and power makes use of an important part of this heat energy which is normally released to the atmosphere, turning it into heat. Combined heat and power has applications in the industrial, domestic and commercial sectors. In these latter ones, it is known as micro combined heat and power (micro CHPs). Micro CHPs produce heat for heating and/or hot water as well as electricity that can be used for own consumption or sent to an electricity utility company. Micro combined heat and power is today a very attractive option in the domestic and distribution sectors since, as well as being profitable, it is efficient and reduces CO2 emissions, thus helping to conserve our environment. 3 EUROPEAN CHIMNEYS ASSOCIATION DINAK hp 2 Dinak hp is a range of modular steel chimneys available both as a single wall and a double wall system with intermediate insulation, specifically designed for gas exhaust of products from domestic micro combined heat and power equipment and from industrial combined heat and power systems. Dinak hp consists of two product ranges, Dinak DW hp and FK hp, which present the following common features: Flue gas Temperature level T200 (up to 200 ºC). H1 pressure type (for positive pressure tightness). Resistance to W condensates (humid working conditions). Resistance to V2 corrosion (tested in the TUV laboratory). For dry applications, the maximum reference internal back pressure is 500 Pa, while for condensing equipment, it must be limited to 500 Pa for twin wall (DW hp) and 100 Pa for single wall (FK hp) to ensure tightness to condensates. To prevent noise generated by the friction between the combustion gas and the interior of the chimney causing a nuisance to the building's occupants, the flue gas velocity shown in the following table should not be exceeded.
