Also, tests and quests are required & will have an effect on your grade. Attendance is a must since most of this work is completed in class!! However, some activities will need to be completed for homework since we have limited time. **Layers assigned should be dependent on the notes that are reflective of that topic. The assignment must also be put in your own words. No additional sources should be used, unless otherwise noted. When outside sources are used, they must be cited; failure to do so, will result in a zero for the assignment. If you unsure on how to complete any assignment, please ask!! Refer to Appendix A in the back of your textbook for help on making concept maps, flowcharts, tables, etc. All assignments must have your name, period, and C#/B# in the upper right hand corner of the page upon turning in. C-Layer (68 pts min. / 11 pts max.) Assignments C#1: Choose one assignment from below to complete: Pick ten things that you like to eat, with of those things being animals (chicken/beef) and being plants (fruits/veggies). Using the internet, research what foods those animals eat that you eat. Draw a food web with you and the 1 things you like to eat (and the things they like to eat trace back to producers). Label the trophic levels, producers and the order of consumers. Write a paragraph comparing and contrasting food chains and webs - minimum of sentences. Identify two similarities and two differences. Construct a food chain/food web using pictures from magazines. Use a minimum of organisms. Be sure to draw arrows between organisms.
