4 Standing Requirements Course Description The history and philosophy of human services including theoretical frameworks the function and orientation of human services organizations and the roles and qualifications of human services workers. A study of the target populations served by the human services and the professional ethical and cultural issues facing the human services field. Course Student Learning s Set 1 explain the history and philosophy of the human services profession and assess its role in contemporary society. 2 contrast and compare the orientation and function of human services organizations within their field of potential specialization. 3 identify target populations requiring assistance and make recommendations regarding the appropriate human services organization. Out of the 32 students assessed 7.5 % successfully addressed the history of human services. Out of the 32 students assessed 71.75% successfully addressed the philosophy of human services. Out of the 32 students assessed 1.25% successfully addressed the role of contemporary society of the human services profession. Overall, 32 students (79.67%) were successful in all three questions. Results: Criteria for Success Achievement Status: Met Analysis of Findings: Overall the exam had 25 questions and the overall success rate was 4.236% which demonstrates overall students understanding of the SLO.
