Is your fundriser event in one plce, or severl loctions? 7. Think bout the leglities your event my need (i.e. city permit, chritble number, license for gmbling, insurnce, etc). 8. How re you going to receive the monies, nd how re you going to trck this? Think bout wht you my need from your Org Mentor in order to ccomplish your fundrising event gol. 1. Depending on your loction, nd kind of fundriser event, you my need to sk your Org Mentor if they d be willing to extend their insurnce for the purpose of your fundrising event. 2. Would you like to book spce tht your Org Mentor owns or hs ccess to? 3. Would you like your fundrising event to be linked to on-line wys of receiving dontions/ticket purchses? Then this is something you will hve to sk your Org Mentor to see if they re willing to dd you onto their own on-line system for receiving dontions. 4. Figure out if you need chritble number, or if you re sking for csh or cheques. If you re going to be sking for cheques, you must ensure your Org Mentor is willing to dedicte the time to processing them. Ask your Org Mentor if they hve ever ssisted n unincorported group in receiving funds for fundriser event, nd if so, wht is their process? If they hve not, sk if they would be willing to do this for your group.

7 5. Determine with your Org Mentor if the stndrd 10-15% to Org Mentor will be given for the money rised from your fundriser event. 6. If you need ny legl ssistnce, you will need to sk your Org Mentor whether they re willing to shre their insurnce, or help your group to ccess permit, or whtever else tht you wouldn t be ble to obtin s n unincorported group.
