1 On-site & Shutdown Safety Service Safety Observer Our Safety Observers support you in all matters regarding health and safety at work. They observe processes and suggest measures which can be implemented to increase safety on site, primarily during large-scale maintenance projects, repairs, and when many contractors are active on company premises. 2 02 Safety Observer Basic Information Areas of responsibility Support for plant personnel during safety checks and inspections Implementation of safety inspections in agreement with the Plant Manager Documentation of unsafe situations or best practice Monitoring and coordination of safety measures (e.g. fall prevention work, crane work, scaffold work, or work involving fire hazards) Inspection of work permits and support during the execution of technical safety measures Interface between the executing officer and the site safety department Personnel policies In order to be able to guarantee the highest possible safety standard for people and companies, Dräger only appoints trained specialists. Health and Safety Coordinator If several trades or subcontractors are engaged in your plant or operation, our Health and Safety Coordinators will be responsible for establishing, planning and coordinating the comprehensive and overlapping safety measures and regulations. As Gas, Fire, or Entry Guards, they make sure that your specified procedures and regulations are observed, whilst always knowing what to do in emergencies.
