CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting The Certificate in Business Accounting is the first CIMA Level and is made up of five modules which can be studied in any order. The Certificate aims to provide an introduction to the concepts of management accounting and accounting & business, including management accounts, budgets and bookkeeping. Students should also gain an in-depth understanding of the economic environment in which companies have to operate. CIMA Professional Qualification The study route to the Chartered Management Accounting Qualification contains 12 papers at 3 different levels: Operational, Management and Strategic. 13 APPRENTICESHIP COURSES Apprenticeship courses are government funded training courses and encompass a number of subjects. For year olds apprenticeship courses are 100% funded by the Government. To qualify for enrolling on any Government-funded apprenticeship, you must be resident in England only (not Wales, Scotland, etc.) and in full-time employment in a job role that is related to the subject you re seeking to study (i.e. if you want to do the Sales & Telesales Apprenticeship you should be in a sales-related job role). An Apprenticeship course incorporates four elements: Knowledge Section Competency Section Functional Skills (Maths, English & ICT) Employment Rights & Responsibilities The main elements are the Knowledge (KBQ) section and the Competency (QCF) section. Knowledge (KBQ) Section: This is the actual studying part, usually including written assignments. Competency (QCF) Section: This section involves that you demonstrate practically that you can apply the knowledge, and involves periodic workplace visits by a qualified training assessor, who will observe and assess you in your daily functions and record evidence that eventually goes towards your apprenticeship qualification. WAREHOUSING & STORAGE This apprenticeship covers the movement and storage of goods, and is an essential part of logistics operations.
