7 MANUFACTURING PROCESS TECHNICIAN Duties: Setting, Operating, Controlling process plant/machinery Taking corrective actions to make sure product is made to the right quality Managing full line operations Maintaining line efficiencies & measures. Following, Amending or Creating Standard Operating Procedures. Engineering Understanding: Correct problems for continuous improvement Use Engineering techniques such as (TPM) Optimizing processes to ensure for efficiency Train others staff to a higher standard Develop to become a team leader 3 Year Programme: Engineering and Manufacturing Training Basic Engineering Competency Level 3 Occupational Standards Technicians who: Help design Control Operate Troubleshoot Complex processes central to the business activities working with multi-million pound machinery Primary duties: Process technician to optimize the process and keep it on track Be reactive even if problems arise.
