4 Receiving the order automatically from computer system, raw material&production and human planning, necessary control planning and performing, manufacturing planning and performing process as well as dispatching & invoicing process is being done with the aid of ERP MRP (Enterprise Resource Planning Materials Requirements Planning ) automatically. The parts are produced by using high tonnage and high capacity mechanical and hydraulic stamping presses operated by experienced and qualified engineers and workers. TEFAÞ is actually able to produce various profiles on different profile machines. The machine park has various machines of different capacities, such as mechanical presses from 15 tons to 500 tons (with 1200x1350 mm tables) and hydraulic presses from 60 tons to 250 tons (with 1500x2200 mm tables).

All processes and parameters are surveyed carefully. Also fully automatic systemes are used in the welding operations.

6 Qualified engineers using CAD/CAM systems design the tool. When the tools are designed, criterions such as security and productivity are the prime factors. Tool designed by the help of CAD systems are the machined on CNC machines in the company itself, or at other tool suppliers, which also have the facilities to produce high quality tools using CAD/CAM systems. New part launching study is being followed up on computer systems with help of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) program using in compliance with customer specific requirement such as ANPQP, ANPQP etc. (The customer specific requirements are basic on the new parts launching study.) Project study is being performed by lead of project chief and the project team. Project study starts the data those are coming from purchase process and ends with customer approval of project part/parts before the series production. Project team performs weekly, monthly and exceptional project following meetings if it is necessary the customer project responsible can participate to this meetings too. Product designing can be made in addition to die designing at TEFAÞ according to customer specific requirements and aid of customer. Phase of project; Mathematic model (Surface) Wire frame (Data) Samples (CKD) Drawings Specifications, norms other technical documents. In the die designing we use; Autocad (CAD/CAM) Catia V5 R18 (CAD/CAM) CIMATRON V13 (CAD/CAM) For data transfer auxiliaries IGS DXF DWG STEP VDA EXP MODEL are used. All new parts are launched by using APQP (ANPQP) procedures.

7 The quality assurance department, with its qualified staff and high quality precision measuring systems has been designed to ensure first quality products to its customers and is regarded as the most important division of the plant. Its one of the main reasons for our customers to give us their preference. In this department the raw materials and all parts are checked carefully during all the various production phases up to the delivery of the parts to our customers. This leads to achieve a continuous quality control and a full customers satisfaction. Our goal is to even improve further the work carried out by this department to always produce precision parts and to provide the best possible services to our customer, as we are aware that this is what makes the difference! The quality control methods used at TEFAÞ during the various production phases are FMEA (AMDEC), SPC, CAM, MSA, CMC, APQP (ANPQP) PPAP, TAG N, Pareto synthesis, etc. This quality techniques and following systems are being performed with the aid of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) program. (The KALEDATA software consist of MRP (Material Requirement Planning Modules too.) The main function of the quality assurance department is to provide unconditional customer satisfaction. The quality control department works independently by using equipments of the highest standards. Their duty is to give full and continuous satisfaction to all our customers.

8 The company has also the painting equipment needed to paint the parts electrostatically. At the beginning of the painting process the paint resistance is controlled by a test method which controls the adherence of the paint. The painting workshop is obliged to first get the approval of the adherence test by the quality control department before completing the painting. The thickness of the applied paint is tested by an elcometer. Following the electrostatic painting, aging controls are also carried out by salt spraying or other systems to ensure that the paint fully complies with the specifications set forth by customer TEFAÞ has a special pulley machine and is able to produce various types of pulleys including pulley V

9 To comply with our customers specifications various parts have to be coated by zinc metal such as (Zinc, Zinc Ferrous, Zinc Nickel). During the treatment process the thickness of the coating is continuously controlled by an elcometer. Following the treatment process, aging tests (Salt spray Test) are carried on in our premises.
