1 SUNFLOWER ELECTRIC POWER CORPORATION RESPONSIBILITY OUTLINE Position Title Corporate Training Administrative Date September 2016 Assistant Department Organizational Development Pay Status Hourly Reports To Corporate Training Administrator FLSA Category Non Exempt Function Location Corporate Services Garden City EEO Category 5 SUMMARY Under the direction of the Corporate Training Administrator, serve as the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator. Provide technical and administrative support for the Organizational Development and Corporate Training department. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Learning Management System (LMS) Perform LMS administrative functions including serving as the point person for the LMS. Work with users (i.e., new employees, supervisors, trainers, HR); assign and track tasks, and provide reports. Maintain training documents and training curriculum added to the LMS. Organize, educate, and supervise data accessed and added to the LMS. Research and resolve functionality issues by providing technical support for the system. Act as a liaison between the vendor and Sunflower Electric Power Corporation (Sunflower) on technical issues that cannot be resolved in house. Help to drive adoption and usability of the tool, promote the LMS to end users. Act as the voice of the end users to the LMS core team through surveys and information gathered. Under the direction of the Corporate Training Administrator, work with Subject Matter Experts to help build development and training modules for the Sunflower Learning Center (LMS). Support the Manager Organizational Leadership with Oracle Cloud by entering information, doing patch tests, and developing reports as needed. Administrative Support Serve as the Lynda.com administrator contact person. Create new employee accounts and notify accordingly. Act as a liaison between NRECA and Sunflower on technical issues. Create, modify, and maintain reports within Lynda.com. Review modules that would be beneficial for employees for training and employee development and communicate information to employee development and training staff.

2 Work with Corporate Training to develop topics and encourage presenters; organize, schedule, and monitor Wednesday Workshops. Meet with presenters prior to the workshop to review expectations. Edit the recording as necessary and add to the Corporate Training Wednesday Workshop video library. After workshop, send follow-up to participants. Provide support for training processes and procedures. Assist with preparing, creating, updating and maintaining Organizational Development and Corporate Training documents, resource materials, and templates. Provide administrative support to the tuition assistance program. Maintain documentation of employee interest, progress in program, and costs. Track Line Department apprentice hours for the state. Track Substation training through TVPAA. Help employees registered for courses as needed. Provide administrative and clerical support for the Organizational Development and Corporate Training department to produce professional and accurate documents. Copy, file, distribute, and update documents as needed. Coordinate and schedule conference calls, video conferences, and meetings, and provide support for these activities. Scribe and distribute meeting notes and other reports as required. Provide scheduling, coordinating, and support for Corporate Training Committee meetings, Train the Trainer events, Ongoing and New Employee Leadership, and other training. Enter evaluation ratings and comments from training, tabulate results, and maintain training reports. Forward information to applicable individuals. Be the department s intranet (SUN-NET) site owner. Provide support to department for accessing, utilizing, and organizing records on SUN-NET. Maintain calendars on the department s site and publish announcements to main page when applicable. Maintain Organizational Development and Corporate Training Project Run Tasks and PWA. 3 Other Responsibilities As assigned or required to support Sunflower s mission and operations. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Post high school education in office administration and three years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior training development and training record maintenance experience is beneficial. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Demonstrate keyboarding ability and skills to produce professional and accurate documents. Strong competency in proofreading, editing, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and math. Able to setup and operate electronic medium, learning management systems, computer-based training software, presentation software, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite at the level required to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the position. Able to read and grasp utility terminology plus basic technical, financial, and legal concepts to effectively complete administrative responsibilities. Knowledge and ability to organize, file, scan, transfer, send, and maintain office documents electronically or hard copy to ensure proper retrieval. Able to operate office equipment (copy, laminator, binding and fax machines) and have knowledge of office procedures and protocol. Able to maintain confidentiality to protect the integrity of Sunflower s business and the respect, dignity, and privacy of individuals. Able to multitask in an occasionally fast-paced environment and demonstrate the desire to work in a team setting. Able to be supportive and adaptable to change and assist with development of new methods, processes, and procedures. Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills at the level required to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the position. Other Must possess and maintain a valid driver s license. Able to travel to all Sunflower sites and attend training and meetings out of state as needed.
