1 BSIOTR INDUSTRY- INSTITUTE INTERACTION MEET JSPM s BSIOTR organized INDUSTRY- INSTITUTE INTERACTION MEET on Thursday 28 th July, 2016 & Saturday 30 th July, 2016 at am onwards in the college campus. The meeting started with lighting of the lamp and garlanding godess Saraswati s idol in the presence of industry personnel. Dr.T. K. Nagraj welcomed all the guests and talked about the purpose of the meet and the need for mutual interaction between industry and institute. Prof. Amol Baviskar highlighted the need to organize such meets. He emphasized the need to make the course as professional for the students. He also said that IT created benchmarks in the world but that is not the case for other types of industry. Therefore Indian engineering industry is not recognized in the world. He also said that the students should have exposure to current world practices by updating themselves as much as possible. Many eminent industry persons were a part of this meet.
