Solutions from SEW-EURODRIVE for dry areas Conveyors for the dry area 5 7 From the return of pallets of empties, through sorting, unpacking and cleaning, to the transport of packaging units and bottles after fi lling: materials handling technology makes up a large part of the dry applications in returnable as well as disposable bottle systems. We provide various transportation equipment to manage the wide range of tasks, including transportation systems such as electrifi ed monorail systems and, in the future, fl oor conveyor vehicles. This places heavy requirements on the drive technology to ensure high dynamic properties and flexibility. This makes it absolutely essential to have flexible, intelligent drive technology with its own control concept. In the wet area, additional focus is placed on hygienic properties and high resistance to aggressive cleansing agents and disinfectants.
