3 HOW TO PROCESS YOUR SHIPMENTS How to Process Your Shipments UPS offers a wide variety of door-to-door services with guaranteed delivery time and customs clearance. 1. Select the Service 1 TO DAYS UPS Worldwide SM UPS Worldwide SM. Determine the Weight Guaranteed delivery within one or two business days before 1 p.m. in the United States and Canada, and within two or three business days usually before 1:00 p.m. to main metropolitan areas in Europe, Asia and Latin America. This service is not available for your imports. Guaranteed delivery for export within one or two business days, before the end of day, in the United States and Canada, and before end of the second or third business day to main metropolitan areas in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and other destinations. For your imports, the delivery is guaranteed before end of business day from more than 1 countries and territories worldwide. Rates are based on the total actual weight or the total dimensional weight of all packages in a shipment, whichever is greater. Dimensional Weight Dimensional Weight is determined by using the International Air Transport Association (IATA) volumetric standard, which is subject to change without prior notice. 1 st step Calculate the Volume Multiply the length by the width by the height (each rounded to the nearest whole inch) of each package. For a multiple piece shipment, add the results for all the packages together. The total is the cubic size of the shipment. nd step Determine the Dimensional Weight Divide the cubic size of the shipment by 1 for international shipments to determine dimensional weight in pounds. Round up fractions to the next full pound. If the resulting dimensional weight is greater than the actual weight of the shipment, use the dimensional weight to calculate the rate. Shipment Pricing Shipment Pricing applies when shipping multiple packages to one destination on the same day and the packages are listed on the same UPS Air WayBill or Shipping Label. The sum of the weight of all packages is considered as one shipment. Dimensional Weight= L = Length in inches W=Width in inches H = Height in inches L x W x H 1 L W H Shipment Pricing does not apply to UPS Envelopes, as these cannot be part of a multiple-package shipment. Shipment Pricing applies for all your exports and imports.. Determine the Zone To determine the applicable zone for the country of destination of your exports for UPS Worldwide and UPS Worldwide, please refer to the Zone Chart on page. To determine the applicable zone for the country of origin of your imports for UPS Worldwide, please refer to the Zone Chart on page. Note: If a zone number is not indicated in the corresponding column for the service you want to use, then UPS does not offer this service to that origin and/or destination country. 4. Determine the Rate The rate is based on the service, the weight and zone.. Determine Additional Charges To determine if your shipment will incur any additional charges based on UPS additional services, please refer to the Additional Charges section on page of this Rate Guide.

For shipments weighing over 0 pounds, the rate is calculated by multiplying the total shipment weight (rounding up to the next full pound) by the price per pound shown at the bottom of the Rate Chart. UPS will bill the result of this calculation or the Minimum Rate that is indicated, whichever is greater. International air shipments may be subject to the Warsaw Convention, including its limitations and responsibilities. * All charges will be billed to the consignee. 9 ADDITIONAL CHARGES Additional Charges EXPORT AND IMPORT Additional charges are subject to UPS Terms and Conditions. For more information about the availability of these Additional Charges, please contact your local UPS office. Fuel Surcharge UPS reserves the right to charge a fuel surcharge for all deliveries without prior notification. Address Correction A fee of. will apply for each package that requires an address correction. The maximum address fee will never exceed.00 per shipment. Duty and Tax Forwarding Surcharge This charge applies when duties and taxes are charged to the shipper or a third party that is not located in the destination country. This fee covers the cost incurred to bill the duties and taxes outside of the destination country. Declared Value A shipment is automatically protected against loss or damage up to per package. For each shipment with a declared value over , 0.40 will be charged for each additional or fraction thereof, with a minimum of 1.0. Protection against loss or damage excludes or does not provide protection to items that have been incorrectly packed, that have been packed with inadequate materials or with adhesive tape that does not meet the requirements established by UPS. It is the shipper s responsibility to make sure that the shipping materials used are adequate. UPS Returns Service This service is offered to UPS WorldShip version 10.0 users, UPS Internet Shipping or other UPS Online compatible services. UPS Returns service may not be available to or from all countries. An additional fee will apply to the following: For each UPS Print Return Label requested For each Electronic Return Label requested For each UPS Print and Mail Return Label requested to be sent by mail -.. When you choose this billing option, a fee of 1.00 will apply per shipment. The declared value fee can be charged to the shipper, consignee or a third party. For each Web Return Label requested online Extended Areas For each shipment to an extended area, UPS will charge 0.00 per shipment or 0.1 per pound, whichever is greater. For more information, refer to the Extended Areas Guide in Shipping Charges Refusal by Consignee If the consignee refuses to pay the shipping charges, an administrative fee of 10. will be charged per shipment to the shipper, in addition to the return shipping charges and any other fee that is incurred during the return process. Missing or Invalid UPS Account Number A fee of. per shipment will be applied for a missing or invalid account number when the account number is missing, the account number is not the correct number for the bill-to party, or if it is the account number for a receiver or third party who fails to pay the shipping charges. The maximum declared value and the maximum legal responsilibity of UPS for international service is US $0, per shipment. Proof of Delivery Signature Required When the customer selects this service, the driver will require a signature in order to complete the delivery. A fee of. per shipment will apply. Adult Signature Required The driver will require the signature of an adult 1-1 years of age or older at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, UPS will make a second or third delivery attempt. Indirect deliveries or "deliver to" notes will not be accepted. A fee of. per shipment will apply. An adult signature is required when shipping international special products such as tobacco and/or alcohol. For the first pick-up attempt of a package to be returned (One Attempt) For each package that cannot be picked up at the first attempt, UPS will attempt to pick up in the next two business days (Three Attempts) Over Maximum Limits Packages with an actual weight of more than 10 pounds, or packages that, when measured to determine the billable weight, exceed 10 inches in length, or exceed a total of 10 inches in length and girth [( x Width) + ( x Height)] combined.
