13 Vehicle Movement Plan (Southbound) No entry/exit at; Ipswich Rd, Pacific Motorway, Shaftson Ave Lutwyche Rd, Bowen Bridge Rd ICB East & West Heavy vehicles may exit via Ipswich Rd. Notify Gatekeeper upon exit. 30 External ramp speed to be restricted to 10km/hr Traffic Controllers in place at all entry points 5 No traffic movements (except for sweeper and wall washing) 5 Two way traffic (shared lane) Notes for Vehicle Movement Plan use: Barriers will be placed in the no traffic lane at 800meter intervals All traffic to remain in slow lane (away from XP s) unless passing Smaller Vehicles to give way to heavy plant & machinery All vehicles are to enter & exit via Lanham St only during the closure. Unless special permission is granted by BMS management Passing speed and travelling in the lane closest to the cross passage is 5km/hr Stationary EWP & other plant are to be delineated with traffic cones if stationary for more that 5min. Shafston Ave restricted to traffic flow. Exercise extreme caution when entering and reversing on ramp Only light vehicles should transit up Shafston Ave due to limited turning circle. Drivers of plant and machinery must have a two-way radio
14 Traffic Control WARNING - The northbound tunnel is still carrying live traffic do not exit any doors marked N01-N41 in the cross passages. Sneyd & Campbell St will be closed off nightly between 20:00 and pick up after 22:30 - Anyone exiting the tunnel after 22:30 please use extreme caution as there is live traffic on Sneyd and Campbell st Traffic controllers positioned at all southbound tunnel entry points anyone requiring to conduct maintenance beyond the Traffic controllers staging point must have a mechanical device to protect them.(traffic control Ute or TMA) Barriers will be placed on the median strips in the northern portal area. No one is permitted to remove barriers & or access through to the NB lane from this area. Traffic cones will be placed at all southbound exits at Shafston Ave, Pac Mwy and Ipswich Rd - If anyone requires to move them please replace them.
15 Operational Requirements All closure points are to have a radio and use their location prefixed with Traffic Control as their Call Sign. The call signs allocated are; (and will be always announced in the following order) ICB Westbound ICB Eastbound Lutwyche / Bowen Bridge Rd Gate Keeper All call signs will report to the TCC when located at their staging positions prior to 2155hrs but will not commence closure until directed by the TCC. At 2155hrs the command TCC to all traffic control personnel. The time is 9.55pm commence your closure At this point the above call signs will acknowledge this command via the radio and commence their closure.
16 Operational Requirements Once all cones have been dropped Traffic controllers are to stage just inside the boom gates and declare Call Sign Ramp closed and commencing ramp clearance Traffic control will then drive all the way to the end of the ramp and return to closure point and declare Call sign Ramp Clear please close the boom gates Traffic Control are to clear the ICB Eastbound on ramp to the boom gates ICB Westbound on ramp to the boom gates RC.. is allocated to place traffic cones at the exit points (Shafston Ave, Pac Mwy and Ipswich Rd).

18 Safety During Shutdowns - Screening Prior to entry all staff must: Provide assigned password obtained from shutdown toolbox Provide CLEM7 site induction photographic ID tag in / tag out Provide evidence their vehicle has undergone a pre-start roadworthy check Participate in a roadside breath test Following entry all staff must: Comply with the traffic management plan speed camera enforcement Assist in random task observations by dedicated safety observers Overwatch is provided by the Tunnel Control Room for all site movement Subcontractors remain the unknown quantity
