RHIZOSPHERE 2 is hosted and sponsored by INRA, with support from CIRAD, CNRS, IRD, Montpellier SupAgro, Université de Montpellier 2. Dr Philippe Hinsinger (Directeur de Recherche at INRA Montpellier, UMR Rhizosphère & Symbiose) is the Local Chair of this conference. Dr Philippe Hinsinger has a strong international recognition on root-soil interactions and was the Chair of the International Steering Committee of the successful First International Rhizosphere Conference, which gathered 480 participants in Munich (Germany) in September This prestigious research conference covers an area of increasing importance for plant/microbe biotechnologies (improving nutrition and plant health, bioremediation), agricultural, forest and rangeland ecosystem engineering (natural resource management and maintenance of biodiversity), both nationally and internationally. 9 Satchel Sponsorship (500 ) Exhibition Details The exhibition will be open from Monday morning 27 th August 2007 and will resume on Friday 31 st August 2007 after the morning coffee break. To maximize exhibitor contact with delegates, all coffee breaks will be served in the exhibition area, which will be in the same room (1100 m 2 in total) as the scientific poster exhibition. A professional exhibition contractor (Le Corum) will be hired to construct the booths and assist with modifications. They will provide help and advice for any special requests. A limit of 6 single booths is planned in the display area and whilst regrettably we may not able to accommodate all intending exhibitors, our aim is to have adequate space for catering and delegates in the exhibition area. Conditions of Payment for Sponsors/Exhibitors: The booking will be firm only once the payment has been received. All payments must be made by 31 st July, Should payment not be received by the due date, the Organizing Committee will release the assigned space for other purposes.
