What obstacles do they face when pursuing these goals? How can you help your target buyers overcome these obstacles? 2 Build For Speed How quickly does your site load? (try What are their goals?

2 3 Think Mobile First Is your website responsive and easy to navigate on tablets? Is your website responsive and easy to navigate on smartphones? 4 Answer Questions Before Consumers Have Them What are the 3 questions shoppers ask you most often? Does your site answer those questions directly? 5 People Believe Other People Are your testimonials included on your site s front page? Where on your site can customers leave a reviews? 6 Make Buying Easy How many steps are required to create a new account in your estore? How many steps are required to purchase a product in your estore?

3 7 Be Clear As Glass Have you made the terms and conditions for refunds in your FAQ or checkout process? What are your delivery time estimates and where on your site are they listed? What are the hours of your phone support and where on your site are they listed? 8 A Picture Is Worth 1,000 Words Does every product you sell come with a photo? Do any of your product photos look pixelated or misaligned on desktop or mobile devices? 9 Speak To The Customer Does every product description on your site clearly outline how your product resolves your customers problems and issues? Acquiring Customers 10 Social Media Are your social media profiles linked at the bottom of every page? How many assisted conversions come from social media? (this metric is shown in your Google Analytics dashboard) What are the value of your social media assisted conversions? (this is also measured by Google Analytics)

4 11 Marketing Does your site s front page have an newsletter signup form? What are some of the calls to action in your newsletters? (i.e. RSVP, Claim Your Coupon, Buy w, etc.) 12 Contextual Marketing Do you newsletters automatically insert customers names and other personalized information into subject lines, greetings and message body? Does your estore utilize membership portals to personalize site content (i.e. promotional announcements, thank you messages, etc.)? 13 Search Engine Optimization What are your targeted keywords? Where do you rank on Google for those keywords? What are your targeted keywords? Where do you rank on Google for those keywords?

5 Keeping Customers 14 Use Wishlists Does your estore allow shoppers to save items to a wishlist? Do you monitor which items are being added to wishlists and plan discounts and promotions accordingly? 15 Make Use Of Your Data Do you actively manage your Featured Products based on sales data? Does your estore have automatically generate upselling and cross-selling suggestions for shoppers? Does your estore automatically generate Related Products recommendations for shoppers? 16 Create A Loyalty Program Do you reward shoppers with membership tiers or loyalty points based on how much they buy? What incentives do shoppers have to reach the next tier or earn more loyalty points? 17 Remarket Strategically Do you currently have a list of people who added something to their cart but didn t complete a purchase? How are you using this list to increase conversion rates?
