3 HCC WEBSITE ADVERTISING The HCC website received over 185,000 visitors in 2016 with an average of 37 minutes spent on the website per visit. If you are interested in taking advantage of this marketing tool we offer several different advertising options. pany s HCC Website Banner Ads We have several opportunities available for those who wish to have a banner ad placed on the HCC website. A banner ad allows visitors to see your advertised message and shows that you support the HCC and the local business munity. HCC Home Page Banner Ads The ads on this page appear to anyone who visits. These rotating banner ad spaces are sold based on number of impressions and include a hyperlink to your pany website. This page had over 75,000 views and 50,000 visits in HCC Events Calendar Page Banner Ads With over 196,000+ views and 32,000 visits in 2016, the Chamber Events page is our most frequently viewed page as members go here to register for all of our events. These rotating banner ad spaces are sold based on number of impressions and include a hyperlink to your pany website. HCC Directory Search Page Banner Ads We also offer the opportunity to place a banner ad on our Directory Search page. Our Directory Search page had over 91,000 views and 12,000 visits in These rotating banner ad spaces are sold based on number of impressions and include a hyperlink to your pany website. HCC Directory Search - Specific Category page You may prefer to have the ad on a Directory Sub-Category page where your pany is listed (for example on the sub category page Graphic Design ). The ads on the sub-category pages are static and include a hyperlink to your pany website. You are allowed one ad change out per quarter if you purchase a contract that covers more than 3 months. 4 HCC Member Event Calendar We also have a Member Calendar on our website, a FREE benefit of membership. The hyperlink for the Member Events Calender is included the HCC News eblasts (which is also posted to our social media sites). Please submit events 6-8 weeks prior to event date and allow days for posting. Event must be organized/hosted by an HCC Member (cannot be a client s event nor one that you serve as a sponsor or mittee member for unless your pany name is listed on the event as the host or organizer. The event may be a fundraiser for a non-profit, though, as long as the member is listed as the host). pany s Steps to Add Your Event to the Member Event Calendar 1. Fill in the requested fields HCC Member Job Postings As a FREE benefit of membership, the HCC will assist you in filling any open positions you may have within your pany by adding it to our Chamber Member Career Opportunities page on our website. Steps to Add Your Job Opening to the HCC Member Career Opportunities Website Page 1. Send the details in a pdf format (or website link if the job opening is posted on your website) along with the take-down date to Debi Raffi at draffi@hendersonchamber.. HCC Sponsor and Member News Page Sharing your pany press releases with our membership is a FREE benefit of membership. On the HCC Sponsor and Member News website page, HCC Sponsors can have their logo displayed along with a few lines of the article and a link to the full press release. The Member News section lists the article title which is linked to the full press release. (Please note: submitting your event or article does not guarantee its placement on the HCC Sponsor and Member News website page. Many variables dictate how many press releases we can include. Press releases should focus on pany news such as an award, new hire, new location - and must be a pdf of a formal press release. This tool is not used for promoting events or the marketing of your services or products, i.e.: advertising). Steps to Submit a Press Release 1. Visit the HCC website () and click the Newsroom tab and then the Sponsor and Member News option. 2. Click on Submit a Press Release ( Fill in the requested fields and attach a pdf of your press release (Only pdf files can be uploaded to this site. Word files cannot be accepted.) 3. OR If your press release is posted to your website, the link to Debi Raffi at DRaffi@. HCC Member Directory Profile Page A FREE munication tool that the HCC provides for our members is an individual Member Directory Profile page. On this page, members are allowed to add info regarding their pany, such as business descriptions detailing their products and services, social media links, pany logo, owner s headshot or photo of storefront and even a place to make *special offers to other HCC Members. Steps to Update Your Directory Profile Page 1. Log in to your Member Directory page and fill in the fields. 2. For instructions on how to log into your Member Directory Profile page, please visit hendersonchamber./benefits/marketing-opportunities/ 3
5 Special Offers For HCC Members A FREE way to share your pany s special offers/discounts/promotions. Please note: you will be responsible for managing the special offers you place on your Member Directory Profile page. We suggest using start and end dates as well as disclaimer information to prevent any issues or mismunication. Steps to Add Special Offers To Your Directory Profile Page 1. Follow steps for Steps to Update Your Directory Profile Page on previous page to log in. 2. Type the phrase SPECIAL OFFER in front of the text you add to your Special Offer field on your Member Directory Profile page. By adding the words, SPECIAL OFFER to this field, anyone who types in the phrase Special Offer in our Member Directory will automatically pull up all members special offers that were added to their Member Directory Profile pages. pany s HCC Sponsor and Member News Website Page Ads The HCC now offers a limited number of ad spaces for sale in our HCC Sponsor and Member News Website Page. Your ad may promote a product, service, special offer or event. Ads include a link to your pany s website or any other online site of your choosing. 6 HCC MEMBER PROMOTIONAL TOOLS The HCC now offers our members several tools which gives them the ability to promote their business and offer special discounts to other members. HCC Member2Member Marketplace Ads The HCC Member2Member Marketplace (M2M) was created so that our members would have an affordable way to advertise their special promotions and offers to other members as well as to the general public. The first Friday of each month the HCC M2M is ed to over 5,000 contacts and posted on our social media pages, allowing over 6,000 of our followers to view it with just a click of their mouse. Offers are also shared on our HCC M2M webpage which is hyperlinked in our HCC News eblasts. pany s Ads in the HCC Member2Member Marketplace eblast will include your logo and a limited number of words as well as a link to your pany s website or any other online site of your choosing. Offers can be general in nature ( Free consultation... ) or as specific as you would like ( 20% off all sweaters until January 4, 2018 ). These are not coupons so offers should be good without the customer needing to print anything in order to redeem the offer. Include in the the hyperlink that you would like to have attached to the ad. If no link is sent, your Directory Profile page will be used for the link. 5
7 NEW! HCC Facebook Page Posts We offer this affordable tool for those members who would like to promote their news and events to our 3,700+ Facebook followers. By using our Facebook page to share your posts you will be reaching a broader audience than you can by using just your own personal or business social media page. Sponsored posts can be used to make special offers, announce events and news, or promote your business or products to our followers. Each post needs to be 500 words or less (250 words suggested) and includes one image/video to be uploaded with your text and a hyperlink to take readers to a website page of your choosing. If you purchase multiple posts (6-12) you receive a discounted rate and you can change the text, image/video and hyperlink for each post and schedule posts as needed within an 18 month period. pany s Rates Per Post 6 Posts 12 Posts Up to 500 words + 1 Image/Video $50 $270 $480 Steps to Purchase a HCC Facebook Page Post Ad 1. Send the text you wish to appear in your post, a jpg version of the image (at least 300KB) or the video hyperlink (must be uploaded to an online site), and a website hyperlink (if applicable) to Debi Raffi at DRaffi@. Please also include the date and time that you would like the post to appear. HCC Member Mailing List Want To Send Your Event or Marketing Piece to HCC Members? The plete HCC membership list includes approximately 1,300 contacts. List Use The list use is a one-time use through our mailing house. A draft of the item you intend to mail to the members must be submitted to Donna Israelson at DIsraelson@hendersonchamber. for approval. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation giving you permission to use the mailing list through our mail house. You then negotiate directly with the mailing house for the printing, copying, mailing services that you require. The cost of these services are not included in the list use fee to the and are payable directly to the mailing house. Mailing Labels We also offer printed labels that can be adhered to your mail piece. Please allow for 10-5 business days for the labels to be printed and mailed to you. Member Directory Print-Out The non-editable HCC Member Directory Print-Out is for reference only and may not be distributed to any third parties. You are allowed to use this list to create your own distribution list by typing in the Member contact info and building your own database. 8 NEW! HCC Relocation Packet Listing or Ads Each year we send out approximately 500 relocation packets to those who live out of state and are looking to move to Southern Nevada. In these packets we include contact info for participating HCC Members such as Realtors, Utility Companies, Education Facilities, Churches, Shopping Centers, Golf Resorts, Restaurants and Medical Physicians. These packets are either mailed, ed or downloaded from our website for those who request them. pany s There are two ways to advertise in the HCC Relocation Packets. Your business can be listed with your contact info on a reference page or you can purchase ad space within the packet. Or both! (Member is responsible for contacting us with any updates to their contact info.) HCC Information Center Located within the HCC lobby is an information center where members can proudly display business cards, tri-folds, fliers and other marketing materials. The information center serves as FREE advertising for our members and as a great information hub for the high volume of visitors that e through our doors on a daily basis.
