2 The Kapuskasing Lumberjack Heritage Festival des bûcherons will be celebrating its 18 th anniversary on July 21, 22 & 23, This milestone would not have been achieved without the continued support from our sponsors. What is the Kapuskasing Lumberjack Heritage Festival? It s fun for the whole family! It s learning about our roots! It s a gathering place! It s an opportunity to celebrate as a community! What does it mean for the community and the region? The Lumberjack Festival is an important event for Kapuskasing, not only for leisure and tourism purposes, but it also contributes a significant economic impact for the region in the accommodation, transportation, recreation, food and retail industries. Last year, the Festival generated over $1.3 million in visitor spending in the Cochrane District.
