1 Dear Friend of NC State, As co-chairs for NC State s 6 th Annual Packapalooza Festival we are pleased to contact you about sponsorship opportunities for Packapalooza, scheduled for Saturday, August 19, 2017 on Hillsborough Street between the Belltower Roundabout and Brooks Street. For homecoming parades, game-day victories, graduation, and photos at the Belltower, Hillsborough Street is where NC State celebrates. It has been for generations. So what better place to throw one of the biggest events of the year in the city of Raleigh? Packapalooza is an all-day block party and street festival capping off Wolfpack Welcome Week at the start of the academic year. We will have everything it takes to celebrate in NC State style, including great music, activities throughout the day, and fun entertainment for the whole family. Last year s event had over 75,000 attendees with over 300 vendor booths, and over 40 sponsoring organizations. We were also the 12th highest trend on Twitter throughout the day in the Raleigh area in 2015 and had close to 300,000 SnapChat views in Social media has become a mainstay for people to connect before, during, and after the event. The daylong festival will feature a main stage performance area at the historic Belltower for national and regional musical groups and then two other stages within the footprint of the event. These other two stages will feature talent from the local area, including some of our amazing students and organizations on campus. Hillsborough Street from the Roundabout to Brooks Street will be closed for the event, allowing campus entities, businesses, organizations (for profit and non-profit) to set up vendor spaces to interact with the attendees. Businesses and restaurants on Hillsborough Street will be participating as well, in support of their partnership with NC State University. Packapalooza has provided an eciting and memorable way to celebrate the start of a new academic year with inception during our 125th anniversary si years ago. Continuing this tradition provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the arrival of new students, to welcome returning students, staff and faculty, alumni, along with the local community including the Hillsborough Street merchants. Important Information for ALL Sponsorship Levels All logos must be high resolution for website and print (EPS) and provided within two weeks of any signed sponsorship agreement. s will sized and placed accordingly based on sponsorship level depending on use. Vendor booth location will be assigned at least two weeks prior to the event and will be determined by the event planning team based on availability and sponsorship level. Approimate deadlines (subject to change): Print Materials June 30, 2017; T-shirt July 28, 2017; Video Screens August 16, It may take up to five business days to upload material onto the Packapalooza website. Recognition in any promotional material, per sponsorship package, is subject to pre-determined deadlines. Once a sponsorship form is received an invoice will be sent and payment is due immediately.

Forms of payment accepted are checks (made payable to NC State University), credit card, and Interdepartmental transfers (NC State affiliated entities).
