2 Organization Summary ASIAFEST 15, the 12 th Annual Plano Asian Heritage Festival, is organized by the Celebrating Asian American Heritage Foundation (CAAHF) CAAHF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization CAAHF and ASIAFEST staffing are comprised of all nonpaid volunteers from North Texas communities CAAHF Website: Music. 4 Demographics 16.5% of Plano population is of Asian descent US Census Bureau 2010 Survey 19% of the PISD student body is of Asian descent Asian community comprises the largest ethnic minority group in Plano Asian is the fastest growing ethnic group in Plano and Collin County ASIAFEST provides an excellent opportunity for local businesses to reach out to this fast growing community

9 CAAHF 2015 Programs In 2015, ASIAFEST will still represent the CAAHF s primary focus New exhibits planned include more STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) themed booths. Expecting TI Asian Diversities to participate in the booth theme and the exhibition planning Collaborate with Plano ISD PTA to host Chinese Lantern Festival Promote arts creations for kids Encourage Asian parents to join PTA and promote the lantern festival Partner with Kollaboration Dallas to encourage Asians in arts and entertainment Provide a platform for young Asian and Pacific Islander artists to showcase their talents Music.
