3 About CHF Canada CHF Canada is the nation-wide umbrella organization for co-op housing and Canada s link with co-op housing around the world. We exist to unite, represent and serve the co-op housing community across Canada. We bring together more than 1,000 members and associates, including almost 900 non-profit housing co-operatives, as well as organizations that are closely linked with housing co-operatives. We are proud to support our members in providing safe, secure, affordable housing to over 250,000 Canadians. 10 Display Booth Policy Displays There will be an area for displays at each annual meeting. Guidelines for displays a) The fee for a display space will be: Included in sponsorship packages at $7,500 or greater Non-profit or co-operatives $ (at cost) + GST Non-sponsor: $1,700 + GST b) CHF Canada must receive full payment two weeks prior to the annual general meeting. c) CHF Canada will decide whether or not you can set up a display. CHF Canada may refuse display space if we feel that a display: May offend people attending the conference Is taking a partisan political position Is inconsistent with CHF Canada s principles and objectives d) CHF Canada may supply free space for educational displays organized or requested by CHF Canada. e) CHF Canada will not be responsible for theft or damage to displays. f) CHF Canada will contact you before the meeting to let you know: Where to put your display When to set up your display When to take down your display g) The Victoria Convention Centre does not allow food or beverage distribution or sales from the display tables. Excepted from this policy are items that are small and would not be seen as snack items such as gum, mints, or small chocolate bars that can be handed out to participants. h) Exhibitors are allowed to sell other items (that are not food or beverages) from their tables as long as they are within reason.
