2 13 th Annual Ocala Cultural Festival Tuscawilla Park October 7, a.m. - 3 p.m. Sponsorship Opportunities The city of Ocala takes pride in offering a variety of public events, Festivals and concerts for our residents in order to provide them the type of quality of life opportunities that promote a sense of community and belonging. Themed events have proven popular with residents and our visitors, and present a great opportunity for businesses to increase brand awareness, establish rapport with potential customers, generate leads and foster an image of civic-mindedness. To enjoy these benefits and more, we invite you to join us as a sponsor of the 12 th annual Ocala Cultural Festival. Cultural Sponsor $1,000 A Cultural Sponsor will be recognized for being a stage sponsor. In a performance setting all eyes are on the stage-make sure they re seeing your name in big bold letters as a stage sponsor for the Ocala Cultural Festival! Participation at the Ocala Cultural Festival A reserved 10 x 10 booth space and tent, one table and two chairs at the Festival to display your company information. We encourage you to dress and decorate international style in keeping with the theme! Additional Benefits and Media Recognition Logo recognition on the event webpage s scrolling banner, with a hyperlink to your company s corporate website. Logo recognition on the event stage. Logo recognition on the sponsor board and on event program. Logo recognition in the Ocala Star Banner as event sponsor (date sensitive). Hourly name recognition on stage as an event sponsor. Logo recognition on event posters, distributed throughout the City of Ocala & Marion County.

3 Harmony Sponsor $500 A Harmony Sponsors will be recognized for being a Kids Zone sponsor. We ll have a kids tent with activities, crafts and other fun things during the event. Put a smile on a child s face as a Kids Zone sponsor for the Ocala Cultural Festival! Participation at Ocala Cultural Festival A reserved 10 x 10 booth space and tent, one table and two chairs at the Festival, displaying your company information. Hourly name recognition on stage as an event sponsor Diversity Sponsor $250 A Diversity Sponsor will be recognized for being an Origins of Sport sponsor. This Festival is not only about fun, it s about education. As a way to enlighten understanding between cultures we ll be presenting the national and historical background of different sports, and holding clinics for the public to try them out. Help us bring the past into the present as a Diversity Sponsor! Name recognition on stage as an event sponsor Event Check-in, Set-up and Breakdown Sponsors are required to check in with their designated event zone coordinator, who will be present to meet them at the check-in area. Maps will be provided to all sponsors with check-in information prior to the event. Sponsors must begin set-up no sooner than 8 a.m. and no later than 9 a.m. Set up should be complete and ready for inspection by 10 a.m. Sponsors may not drive into the event zone (Citizens Circle) but may park in the City Hall parking lot to unload the equipment/products. Exhibits must be open and staffed for the entire duration of the event. Sponsors can begin breakdown at 3 p.m. So as not to present an unwelcoming image to the public, early breakdown is prohibited.

4 Additional Guidelines Sponsors receive prime placement for their tents, however requests for a particular Sponsor space cannot be guaranteed. The final location will be assigned by the city in keeping with goals to provide a quality event zone. Sponsor may not sell or create items bearing the event name or likeness. We encourage all sponsors to use whatever social media or other promotional outlets are at their disposal to promote the event and their involvement in it, however it may not be made to appear as though it is their own event. Links to the Recreation and Parks website/facebook event page are acceptable. Please contact Recreation and Parks for approved promotional materials. Check out our website and Facebook pages for photos from previous years events. While professional behavior and dress is required and will be determined at the sole discretion of the city of Ocala, we encourage Sponsors and their staff to dress in an appropriate international or cultural attire. Small radios are allowed. Amplification equipment is NOT permitted at booths. Sponsors and vendors are PROHIBITED FROM SMOKING WITHIN THE EVENT SITE. Sponsors are prohibited from having animals within the confines of the event, except for legitimate service animals as authorized by State Statute and ADA standards. Pushing sales to passing customers is prohibited. Sponsors are responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax on all sales.
