3 About the San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival 20 years in Downtown San Diego community One of the most diverse festivals in Southern California Participants: The San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival promotes cultural awareness and cross cultural engagement in a fun interactive way through entertainment, storytelling and educational activities. The Festival attracts hundreds of San Diego area residents as well as tourist of all ages. Entertainment: Local multi-cultural bands and entertainers provide entertainment to the attendees while ensuring that their traditional and historical cultures are highlighted. The Festival lead in promoting a broader understanding and breaking down of cultural barriers among attendees. Volunteers: The support from our volunteers is very important as they assist with setup, tear down and they interact with our attendees and vendors. The volunteers answer questions, provide support and directions. Volunteers are also used to keep a running count of attendees as well as ensure vendors have water and needed supplies.

4 About the San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival Vendor Booths: Retail as well as Educational and Informational vending opportunities are available. The Festival provides economic opportunity for local businesses and artisans who showcase their crafts, talents and services as well as provides a platform for educational and informational exhibitors to educate the public on their products and services. Children's Zone: The children zone features youth activities to include storytellers, drum circles, face painting, and interactive activites that educate our youth. The various storytellers bring to life diverse ethnic stories through their interactive, artful use of words and action to reveal a story's elements and images while activating the listerner's imagination. These family-friendly free activities promote cultural awareness and inclusion by increaseing the knowledge of the diverse cultures that reside in San Diego. Main Stage: The attendees will be entertained all day with multicultural music, song(s) and dance from all over the world. These Heritage based entertainers will offer a compilation of cultural sights, sounds, dance, music and song that will keep participants engaged throughout the entire day. Food Area: Participants will be able to enjoy different ethnic food while enjoying beautiful Downtown San Diego, the San Diego Harbor, Sea Port Village and Ruocco Park.

5 Promotion, Advertising & Sponsorship Recognition Promotion and advertisement of the San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival will be included in multiple print publications around the county, various websites, and radio. As a sponsor you will be recognized in the following manner: Booth at the Multi-Cultural Festival Sponsor organization name mentioned in radio promotions As a sponsor you will secure a 10x10 booth at our San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival Sponsors will receive multi-channel marketing benefits which include tagging your organizations name in the San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival radio promos. Logo placement in all web promotion All sponsors will enjoy logo placement in San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival web promotions and advertising. Web ads will include links to sponsor sites when feasible.

7 Promotion, Advertising & Sponsorship Radio ads: Recognition Plans for radio station ads for the San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival where your sponsorship recognition will be mentioned may include, but not be limited to the following Kiss, Magic 92.5, Z-90, Channel 933, 98.1 KIFM, KOGO, and XTRA Sports 1360 am Web promotion: San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival registration website. San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival social media pages when applicable (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) KPBS Union Tribune Other forms of recognition offered: San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival announcers will recognize sponsoring organization from the main stage and can read a scripted ad you present to our organization. If provided, we will display your organization banner or advertisement throughout the Festival. As San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival organizers are interviewed we will mention your organization as a sponsor.
