2 The Bed-Stuy Gateway BID provides leadership in developing business and economic opportunities which will enhance the quality of life in our community. The success of this event will allow us to give back to our community. The first of its kind in Bed-Stuy, with event Chair, Nate Boyd, owner of the Bed-Stuy Boxing gym, the idea was to host an event that celebrates Fathers and their hard work and dedication to family, work and the community. By using the connections in the Boxing world and the resources of the Restaurant industry in the District that specialize in culinary BBQ we will be able to pull together a full day event featuring at least 10 matches (male/female and youth) MMA demonstrations and entertainment. Benefit s of Sponsorship Market ing Event sponsors will receive maximum exposure in all paid print and online marketing materials distributed in association with the event. These materials include advertising such as posters, brochures, and flyers. Online marketing also includes the use of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Digit al The Festival utilizes its website and lists to get important information out to past and current applicants. All current sponsor logos and applicable links will be included on the website at : We?re expecting over 1,000 to come to Marcy Plaza. More than competition and 20 BBQ (including some past champions) will be on vying for prizes and bragging rights, and there will be demonstrations throughout the event by the Bed-Stuy Boxing Center. More than 20 athletes will be exhibiting their talents There?ll be demonstrations for kids of all ages, and the plaza will feature a variety of good things to eat plus sponsor exhibits and a fascinating historical review of the sport with photos and artifacts from past events. Our media partners, will be broadcasting from the plaza on Sunday, with local athletes originating interviews live at the And, finally, recognition and awards will close out our great event. Sales The BBQ Festival attracts thousands of people from the five Boroughs. Your business(?s) will be viewed by many and could result in higher sales and revenue. 5 BBQ/ FOOD & TABLE SPONSORS MAIN PLAZA-- BID Members $ Non BID members $250 - You get a up to a 10ft space to display your business, give away samples, brochures, and talk with all the visitors you can attract! Some restrictions apply as to what you can sell or give away? so as not to be in competition with other aspects of the event. Please contact us if an electrical connection is needed * Must have food handlers perm it and proof of insurance BANNER SPONSORS A low-cost way for you to advertise your business at the event. Let us put your logo on a handsome vinyl banner, 4?wide x 2.5?deep, and hang it on the fence for all our arriving guests to admire as they walk by on the way to and from the Plaza entrance Cost includes the banner. We will hang the banner, take them down and store them at the BID for pick-up at your convenience. Cost, including banner, $100 If you have a banner you may bring it to the BID building by the Monday prior to the event and we will hang it for you for only $50. OTHER SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE - Entertainment Sponsorships As our lineup of entertainers becomes firm, there will be opportunities for sponsors to associate their corporate identity with an entertainer in our advertising and at the event.
