General Summary of Function/Purpose of Position The general function of this position is to perform a variety of janitorial and custodial duties and to maintain clean and safe buildings and grounds. The total percentage of all duties performed must equal 100 percent. Duty 1 General Summary of Duty 1 General Janitorial Duties 65 Clean locker rooms, supply rooms, restrooms, kitchen, operations area, lobby, and all International Bridge Administrative offices, maintenance garages, and Canada Customs buildings, stairways, and hallways. Mop floors, shake rugs, vacuum all carpeting, spot cleaning when needed. Strip and wax floors when needed, Wash windows (inside and outside). Remove, clean, and replace lighting fixtures. Check and re-supply toilet tissue, dry and liquid soaps, cloth and paper towels. Change urinal blocks as needed. Wash all desk tops and woodwork. Duty 2 General Summary of Duty 2 Clean Toll Booths 20 Remove trash, paper, bottles, and paper cups. Sweep daily, removing mats weekly. Clean stainless steel once per week with proper cleaner. Wash windows (inside and outside) as needed/permitted - approximately twice per week. Wash mats once per week. Page 2

Ability to work around heavy traffic in toll booth areas. This position requires bending, stooping, lifting and carrying heavy weights of up to 100 pounds for extended periods of time. Exposure to unpleasant and noxious fumes and odors. 19. 7 26. What are the minimum education and experience qualifications needed to perform the essential functions of this position? EDUCATION: No specific amount of formal education is required. EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in the care and cleaning of buildings. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the janitorial service. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid U.S. or Ontario Driver's License. Valid Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative Document.
