Responsibilities: Reviewing existing literature regarding expertise and its measurement and classification, identifying methods of distinguishing experts from non-experts, developing a framework and measure for assessing expertise, writing grant proposal.

Responsibilities: Conducting literature review, creating technical report of findings, presenting findings to Workforce Planning and Analytics (WPA) group. Organizational Development & Culture Change: Strametrics July 2014 March 2015 Dr. Karen DeShon Assisted client organization with functional and cultural transition of employees from old work configuration to newly renovated work configuration and space. Responsibilities: Preparing materials, conducting on-site workshops and meetings with employees, analyzing survey data, creating reports of findings. Performance Management System Evaluation: March 2014 February 2015 The Christman Company Kendy Gaffner, HR Specialist Evaluated current performance management system used by company to inform decisions about how to rework and improve the system. Responsibilities: Identifying strengths and weaknesses of current system, conducting analysis of goal-setting and ratings data from system and identifying key insights, researching potential alternative performance management systems, coordinating and communicating with platform companies, providing system recommendations. Skills Assessment Survey: Accident Fund Holdings, Inc. January 2014 January 2015 Dr. Ann Marie Ryan Created survey assessment tools for company to use in identifying key claims adjustment, loss control and underwriting skills; potential gaps in current and future skill levels; and future trends in the changing skills of employees. Responsibilities: Conducting a scan of relevant literature regarding skill requirements and documentation of key points, conducting interviews and focus groups, creating and administering skills assessment surveys, conducting analyses, writing up reports of the results. Training Needs Assessment & Training Program Development: October 2013 June 2014 Hercules Steel Dr. Kevin Ford Gathered and organized information relevant to the performance of cold drawn steel machine operators to be used in the creation of a training initiative. Responsibilities: Conducting interviews; documenting work processes for machine operation, required skills and tooling; generating best practice tips and training recommendations; creating training manual and materials. 360 Leadership Assessment Survey: Accident Fund Holdings, Inc. June 2013 November 2013 Dr. Ann Marie Ryan Conducted the annual 360 leadership assessment survey.

3 Responsibilities: Editing survey content, inputting survey content into Qualtrics 360, managing the rater nomination process, sending notifications and monitoring survey administration on Qualtrics 360, redesigning and preparing reports of survey results in Qualtrics 360. Responsibilities: Developing and preparing non-cognitive assessments and other materials, managing data and conducting analyses, conducting data collection sessions, creating training materials for university staff, writing technical reports, developing manuscripts. Cross-Culture Family and Work Behavior Study (CCFWB) September 2013 May 2014 Dr. Fred Leong, Dr. JoAnn Lin, Dr. Ann Marie Ryan, Dr. Hannah Nguyen Explored the influence of familism, collectivism-individualism, traditionality and CPAI- IR (Chinese personality assessment inventory-interpersonal relatedness) on the selfconstrual, interdependence and interpersonal relationships with others, work-family conflict, life satisfaction and leadership preference of college students from U.S. and Chinese cultures.
