1 The EODF 2017 Conference: October, Dortmund, Germany NEXT GENERATION ORGANISATION DESIGN: Practical Operating Models Enabling Agility, Digitalisation and Customer Centricity The EODF mission is to build and advance the community, practice and strategic role of Organisation Design.

2 Our History The EODF was founded in 2010 with the launch of our website and the first conference in The EODF has members from 18 countries across Europe with dedicated country groups. We endorse certification of courses and registry for practitioners in 2017 and we provide curated content. The EODF 2016 Annual Conference Barcelona, the focus was on Organisation design for the 21st century organisation through thinking, feeling and playing. For the EODF 2015 Annual Conference Milan, the aim was to create a connected community by exploring inspirational perspectives to release organisational potential. In EODF 2014 Annual Conference Amsterdam, about 100 professionals talked about Innovation in Organisation Design: leading, learning, practicing, setting up a great number of activities, with fantastic special guests and differents sponsorship. In EODF 2013 Annual Conference Vienna, people had the opportunity to see how designing thriving organisations, through three key words: resilience, partnership and enablement.

Doing so requires reinventing operating models. Join us for practical examples and case studies highlighting how businesses and governments modernizing their operating models to cope. Digitalisation: Customers are demanding from companies and governments a radical overhaul of how they do business with them. Intuitive interfaces, around-the-clock availability, real-time fulfillment, personalized treatment, global consistency, and zero errors this is the world to which customers have become increasingly accustomed. It s more than a superior user experience, however; when companies get it right, they can also offer more competitive prices because of lower costs, better operational controls, and less risk How companies are leveraging digitalization to meet these demands. Agility and Customer Centricity: Most companies know where they want to go. They want to be more agile, quicker to react, and more effective. They want to deliver great customer experiences across channels (omni-channel), take advantage of new technologies to cut costs, improve quality and transparency, and build value. The challenge is that while most companies are trying to get better, the results tend to fall short: one-off initiatives in separate units that don t have a big enterprise-wide impact; adoption of the improvement method of the day, which almost invariably yields disappointing results; and programs that provide temporary gains but aren t sustainable. 4 EODF Conference 2017 Why Germany Our selected country for 2017 is Germany: Dortmund To support the blossoming EODF local Country Group. German industry leverages organisation design as a management solution. We rotate our conference each year to a new EU country to build membership and generate interest in the topic. We have a high interest from our members and conference delegates to hold the 2017 conference in Germany.
