1 Sponsorship 2017 Agile on the Beach is a 2 day conference run annually in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK. The conference in its seventh year hosts 350 delegates including 50 speakers sharing their experiences and skills. As well as a strong offering of workshops and seminars the conference hosts social events to facilitate discussions, networking and collaboration amongst its guests, including a beach party on the local Gyllyngvase beach, the pre-conference gathering and the retrospective dinner. Mission: Agile on the Beach aims to provide space and expertise to enable delegates, both technical and business-focused, to engage with agile practice and apply to their own organisations. The conference also seeks to raise the profile of Cornwall as a positive and energetic centre for the IT industry. 2 Audience: In 2016 the conference sold out with 350 attending The conference attracts a diverse audience (survey/attendee data 16): 35% of delegates being business owners, directors or in management roles approximately 40% of delegates were developers, testers, coaches and project managers, with the remaining coming from education and the wider business community Over half of our attendees travelled to Cornwall from around the UK from locations including London, Oxford, Reading, Bristol, Cambridge. Over a third were from the local tech and business community in Cornwall. Around 10% of attendees came from Europe or International locations this year including USA, Berlin & Dusseldorf, Sweden, Ireland and Australia. They do this over pasties, cider and a beach party! Speakers: Speakers are being scheduled in February following our call for papers and will be announced shortly after the schedule is drawn up. In previous years the conference has hosted speakers from USA, Canada and Europe as well as local and national UK speakers. Previous keynotes have included Dan North, Jenni Jepson, Dave Farley, Linda Rising, Rebecca Parsons and Woody Zuill. We operate an open submission process for our speakers and generous package which helps us to attract a diverse and talented array of world leading speakers and organisations.

It was about Agile development but covered so much more, I have taken away a lot from the two days.
