9 Issuing Books to Scouts Coupon Books have a cash value of $10 Limit the number of books issued to a number that the Scout can comfortably sell before you see him at the next meeting Use the Unit Coupon Book Sales Record form to keep track of your Scouts books & sales.

11 Bonus Commission Deadlines March 8, Coupon Book Sales - 5% Bonus turn-in deadline March 29, Coupon Book Sales - 3% Bonus turn-in deadline (Turn-ins held 3/28 due to Good Friday) April 5, Coupon Book Sales - 1% Bonus turnin deadline

12 Units can close out at any time during the sale Units will not be considered closed out unless they have all money and/or books turned in. Units should keep copies of all Scout Fair Receipts. Closing Out

13 Commission Checks Units that closeout by 1% turn in deadline will receive a check at Scout Fair Units that closeout after April 5th th should expect a check between April 15 th and April 30 th Checks will be mailed to the Committee Chair on file Units are encouraged to verify their commission amounts at Scout Fair

14 Door to Door Where should we sell? Ideal locations are high traffic areas such as big box stores, gas stations, and local small businesses. Don t forget about your schools and churches! Be sure to get permission from a manager and to leave the store front better than you found it.

16 Kroger Genbook is the ONLY way to sign up to Sell Coupon Packs at Kroger stores on designated dates/times Do NOT ask Kroger employees/management about selling, but DO THANK THEM for allowing us to be there. Registration link opens at 2:00PM CT Sunday, January 28, 2018 Link is at shac.org/scoutfair You will receive instant saying "your appointment is confirmed." It is not; appointments can still be canceled by the unit. Appointments will only be canceled by Council if you sign up for more than 4 spots. Unit must monitor appointments. If you register for a spot 24+ hours out from your appointment you will receive a reminder 24 hours out.

17 Tips and Tricks for Kroger First Follow Registration & Rules on SHAC Scout Fair website. Get the Genbook App for easy booking! While making an appointment please use your real name (first and last). One person per unit, not per den or patrol. That one person should only make appointments for ONE unit. (i.e. John Doe should not make appoints for both Pack and Troop 0000)
