The Ministry of Agriculture has developed a hurricane contingency plan since 2011. In terms of education and health, both line ministries have some draft planning documents for vulnerability reduction (Safe School Action Plan, Safe Hospital Action Plan). Dialog was initiated with the Ministry of Economy and Finance to develop a study on the economic and fiscal impact of disasters, which would lead to the preparation of a disaster risk financing strategy. As indicated in the draft of the revised Results Framework, this indicators would be replaced by one or several indicators that would assess performance of CCPCs, for example their capacity to communicate warnings and alerts, time necessary to send damage reports, and time necessary to prepare a needs assessment.
