2 In its 14th year in March 2018, the Funspot Indoor Triathlon is a sporting event like no other! Teams of four raise pledge money and compete in a myriad of fun events at the World s Largest Arcade bowling, mini-golf, darts, and skeeball to earn the ultimate title of Funspot Triathlon Champion and win prizes. Join us and our friends from Funspot, Mix 94.1FM and so many other local businesses and organizations for the fun, with a day of games, prizes, raffles, and all the Funspot pizza you can eat as we raise money for the animals almost $50,000 in 2017! Can we beat that in 2018?!? Help us try. Wags, Whiskers & Wine, the Lakes Region s newest premier food & wine sampling event, was an instant success in its inaugural year in April 2017, with over a dozen local food and alcohol vendors sampling their wares; a bountiful silent auction; swinging jazz music with the Tom Robinson Trio, and; our very popular Wall of Wine Raffle, featuring 75 bottles of unique and distinctive vintages in a hand-crafted wine rack. Don t miss being a part of our second annual event sure to be an even bigger success at the Margate s Lakeside Pavilion on Saturday, May 12th, Another new event launches in September The Blue Jeans Ball at Pitman s Freight Room was a boot kickin good time, featuring pop-country artist Lexi James; a country dance lesson, and; a scrumptious BBQ meal. One lucky winner walked away with our Backyard BBQ Haven Raffle package a brand new grill, patio set, fire pit and a gift certificate for grilling meat and supplies.
