"Travel In Med" is the reply to a strong demand for services and tools necessary for travel experts activity. It is an innovative information platform that addresses all professionals and governments that want to communicate about their products and exchange information in real time. "Travel In Med" brings together, in a single portal, all the information relating to the Mediterranean tourism. Its services are offered to professionals worldwide. With "Travel in Med", a travel agent will find, in one and only site, all the necessary information to create an "à la carte" trip, at the best conditions and prices. All "Travel in Med" members share the same ethics and desire to promote the Mediterranean region. They can be identified thanks to a common logo : 2

3 "TRAVEL in MED" for WHO? Suppliers : all Mediterranean service providers related to tourism Clients : tourism professional from all over the world. All "Travel in Med" members can exchange with one another ; thus a service provider may comme into contact with another provider. (A Tunisian travel agent can contact a travel agent in Nantes, etc.). All service providers involved in the creation of a trip are "suppliers", this includes tourist offices : hotels, rent a car or boat companies, incoming agencies, guides, airlines, maritime companies, guest houses, ryads, theme parks, tourist vehicles with driver, airports, sports activities, etc. For instance, a travel agent looking for a tour guide for the visit of a city will be able to get in touch directly with a guide to include his services from the start of the elaboration of the trip, thanks to a direct contact with an hotel additional services proposed may be more personalized. Our data base and mail services allow quick and direct contacts, with high reactivity and an optimized margin. "Travel In Med" is meant for tourism professionals, it is a real private social network. 3

"Travel In Med" offers an easy and friendly access to a wide range of services and tools : A business directory with a multi-criteria search engine (search by country, city, Category of suppliers, etc.) A geolocalization map of the members (Google Maps) Instant internal messaging with management of user groups Individual display and communication space for each of its members, showing his contact information (address, , phone, general infos, etc.) and detailing products An internal rating system between professionals for all activities Informative guides and presentation of all destinations in the Mediterranean region (regions, cities) Regional news posted in real time, by the network users. A general newsletter informing the latest news, regional product trends, ads, promotions, publicity etc. "Travel In Med" is open to Mediterranean service providers as well as to travel and tourism agents worldwide. The business model is based on subscriptions. The annual subscription costs ur. 90. Currently, the site is free to all members, until the first of March After this period, any new members who registers will receive one month of free connection. The Institutional, the Medias and the Tourism Organizations (Tourist offices, Ministries, etc.) preserve a permanent free access. Registrations and fact sheets of members of the community feed a constantly evolving data base. The site is already available in bêta format at the following address : 4

5 Actors of the Mediterranean market Why the Mediterranean area? The Mediterranean market is the union of countries around the Mediterranean Sea. This is the first tourist area in the world, representing one third of the global market. The tourism market is becoming increasingly competitive and ambitious new players are emerging (Brazil, Arab Emirates, China, Qatar, etc.). To meet this competition, the Mediterranean area needs to project a strong and coherent image of the region as an homogeneous geographical entity like the one Caribbean professionals succeeded to create since many years. Tourism actors Travel agencies New technologies linked to internet open new perspectives. They allow inexpensive direct contact (mail, website, skype, etc.) with the entire chain of professionals, while offering new services to customers. Hoteliers Large internet operators demand hoteliers commissions as important as those they were subjected to - in the past - from tour operators. Hoteliers also seek ways to increase their visibility, contacts and margins. Service companies related to tourism Incoming agencies, ground transport companies, event organizations, guides, boat rentals, hikers, etc. are essentials to elaborate a trip. These companies are trying to expand their distribution channels to be known directly - from travel agencies and other service companies related to their activity. Tourist Office across the Mediterranean Sea They seek to promote their country / their region / city. To do so, they publish online, particularly for professionals, presentation brochures of their products. 5

In 2009, he founded Travel Club Monaco, a travel agency specialized in "à la carte" travel.
