Khorasan Razavi is the hub of production of dairy products. With the daily production of 2200 ton and annual production of 806 thousand ton of milk, this province ranks 3 rd in the production of raw milk in Iran. Khorasan Razavi ranks 3 rd in the production of poultry in 2016 in Iran Khorasan Razavi ranks 2 nd in the production of egg in 2016 in Iran Khorasan Razavi also produces over 1900 tons of honey, 200 tons of silkworm cocoon and more than 5000 tons of various fish species about 5 million pieces of ornamental fish in a year.

This province exports 58 thousand tons of livestock and poultry products to 31 countries. Forty types of livestock and poultry products are exported to European union countries, Central Asia and the Gulf States from this province which worth $ 80 million and has been unprecedented. In 2011, 3800 thousand tons of animal feed worth 1,930,000 $ were exported to other countries from Khorasan Razavi, which has increased 88% compared to In 2017, 70,000 tons of livestock products were imported to Khorasan Razavi province mostly from Central Asia.
