Asia will be the driver of increasing global poultry consumption in the future, according to a recent report by Orissa International. Poultry consumption around the world is predicted to grow by 27% to 28 million tonnes by 2023, 40% of which is in Asia. According to Rabobank s forecast, Southeast Asian nations will see very strong poultry meat growth of 15%, whilst Indonesia s per capita consumption could increase by 25%. In 2016, Asia-Pacific was the world s largest feed production market, producing million tonnes, growing 5% year-on-year, based on the Alltech 2017 Global Feed Survey.
