15 Field mission Overall objective: to understand the field situation to have the opportunity to meet face to face with representative of relevant stakeholders (competent authority, other government officials, laboratories, fish producers, fish farms and processing facilities) to collect information concerning the survey to gather information on government priorities and interest with respect to aquaculture and aquatic animal health and generate support for a regional programme 15

20 Strategy/Methodolgy the project work plan is based on the following core priciples Regional cooperation: each participating coountries national interests will promoted by cooperation among all participating countries Team effort: each acitivity will be jointly lead by team (FAO, RPC, NFPs, Regional/International Experts), regional participants and other interested partners as OIE, EU, donors) Transparency: a project-based communications protal, the WB Aquatic Animal Health) website, will provide information in both Englsih and regional languages on project activities and assure transparency to all stakeholders 20
21 Strategy/Methodolgy the project work plan is based on the following core priciples Continuity: continuity will be achieved by forming a core group of regional aquatic animal health experts; each participating country will have 4 participants to each activity, 2 of whom will be participating in all activities, and Gender considerations: gender will be a prime consideration in the implementation of the project 21
