Reservoir Fisheries Development (RFD) (i) One-time Stocking of Fingerlings in small Reservoir ( ha effective water spread 2000 nos./ha Re 1/- per fingerling of mm IMC/ Prawn and other species indicated in the guidelines. This cost would include rearing of seed in situ/ ex situ and transportation 100% grant for stocking of fingerlings. Implementing agency shall remit 25% of lease/ license amount to NFDB (ii) Four-Year (consecutive) Stocking of 1000 nos./ ha in first year, 500 nos./ha in 2 nd to 4 th years for medium (> ha) Reservoirs 350 nos./ha in all four years for large (>5000 ha) Reservoirs Re 1/- per fingerling of mm IMC/ Prawn and other species indicated in the guidelines. Human Resource Development Programmes Training Training Programme on scientific developments in farming practices, emerging environmental issues in fisheries and aquaculture, business approaches in processing and marketing, and on extension activities to Farmers/ Master Trainers/ Fisheries Officers/ Fisheries Functionaries at induction level. To be decided on case to case basis (i) Period of training course limited to maximum of 10 days. (ii) Number of trainees/batch up to 20. (iii) T will be provided to participants on request from organizing institute after submission of travel documents. (iv) Travel cost limited to II C Train fare (as per eligibility of participant). (v) No D is eligible to the participants since boarding and lodging facilities being provided by the concerned training institutes with the funding support of NFDB. (vi) Realistic funding support will be provided to the training organizing institutes towards honorarium & T to resource persons, publications, local visit where justified, etc. (vii) 100% financial assistance as per NFDB guidelines to Govt. 13 Blue Revolution Inland Fisheries Govt. of India approved implementation of the Central Sector Blue Revolution Inland Fisheries during the financial year at an outlay of Rs Crore, of which 16.6% is earmarked for Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) and 10% for North East Region.
