Crystal Reports is used against ECC data but some casual Crystal Reports developers find it difficult Lead Crystal Developer attended training and wanted to use Universes to simplify Crystal report development Main reason was to take advantage of building universes on top of ECC InfoSets Evaluate other tools Foundation for future Mobile BI Unexpected savings (explain later) Customer empowerment (we can do it) 15

Installation took only 2 hours; Basis team found this install to be easier (no SAP Integration Kit) Following Ingo Hilgefort s SAP Press book provided team empowerment and confidence Daily status updates with Ramp-up Coach Ingo Hilgefort Small scope at go-live No issues using Analysis OLAP Crystal Reports 2011 migration to Crystal for Enterprise worked against ECC Feedback on BI Launchpad has been positive 23
