We have brought to life a digital factory and will demonstrate holistic approach improving all processes along the entire value chain, show how to validate product ideas and production processes and systems digitally - to eliminate the possibility for failure. The Siemens Digital Factory Experience tour The Siemens Digital Enterprise Software Suite provides a holistic solution to integrate, optimize and digitalize the complete value chain in order to reduce time to market, enhance flexibility and increase efficiency. By weaving a digital thread from Design and Simulation to Manufacturing planning and Engineering through to Execution and Services companies can extend and enrich the value chain by aftermarket services to fulfill the customer demands. Encounter the Digital Twin You will have the opportunity to experience the digital factory for Siemens IPC Nanobox, an industrial PC designed to operate in harsh environments. Directly to the right of the event registration desk you will find the Digital Factory Experience. The experience tour will take 50 minutes and you will have access to the various stages covering Ideation, Digitalization and Realization processes, leveraging both software in the Loop (SIL) and hardware in the loop (HIL) approaches. Walking in small groups (up to 5 people) through the entire booth provides you with a personal adventure. Register now so you don't miss this unique experience! 2 1 Design the Product In our design department the foundation for the Digital Twin used across the entire enterprise is generated. Designs are engineered with manufacturing and quality in mind for the complete assembly. NX for Design, Teamcenter for engineering data management, Catchbook, digital paper for catching, and sketching ideas. 2 Engineer the Product At our engineering department environmental conditions are taken into account to produce simulations on product performance. 4 7 Integrate Engineering We are at a part assembly automated cell, engineered with multi-discipline collaboration design tools as well as tools to integrate a network of hardware (such as PLCs, Motions Controls, Sensors) and develop the correspondent automation code.
