6 Supply Chain Management SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM) is a comprehensive application that allows a company to plan, realize, and monitor complex delivery, procurement, and product relationships (supply chains) efficiently. This application supports a synchronized and close interaction between all departments (and people) involved in a logistics chain. Customers, sales, production planning, manufacturing, warehouse management, purchasing, and vendors are all included in this application. The processing of cross-company or collaborative planning and procurement processes, which also allow a connection to open marketplaces, is a special feature of this solution. 13 Faculty and student Professional Certifications TERP10 TERP10 is a a Certification intended to provide a thorough and intense overview of the entire SAP system. It is free to selected faculty (currently around 60% of the 165 UKI registered faculty are entitled to undertake the course) Students may undertake the course at one of 11 SAP pilot partner institutions at a tenth of the public price for the Certification as long as they are students at one of our member universities SAP 2007 / Page 13
