GOOD, BETTER, VARIANT The secret behind a successful modular scaffold is optimal connection between horizontal and vertical scaffold tubes. Such connections are known as nodes.

If such nodes can also easily absorb dynamic loads without loss of stability, such as the strain caused by swaying bridges or extremely high winds, then these fall into the category of excellent

4 GOOD, BETTER, VARIANT The secret behind a successful modular scaffold is optimal connection between horizontal and vertical scaffold tubes. Such connections are known as nodes. A good node is one that has been successfully designed for an extremely high load capacity. If such nodes can also easily absorb dynamic loads without loss of stability, such as the strain caused by swaying bridges or extremely high winds, then these fall into the category of excellent nodes. If there is an additional option to connect horizontal scaffold tubes with vertical tubes at any angle, then we are talking about RUX VARIANT modular scaffolding, which is strength and dynamics combined. 4 VARIANT standards are available in lengths of 1 to 4 m. The breaker plates welded on at intervals of 50 cm are capable of connecting up to 8 horizontal ledgers or system diagonals. Additional breaker plates can be placed anywhere in between and simply screwed on. A simple concept ingeniously implemented. RUX VARIANT the ultimate in flexibility! The horizontal ledgers are available in lengths from 50 cm to 2 m. Particularly clever: thanks to the metric dimensions, users can replace two short ledgers with a long one and vice versa. This saves time and material and opens up new application possibilities.

Decking can be supplied in 2 different versions: 6 as system decking made of steel, timber or aluminium (highly economical, with simultaneous use in scafom-rux

In some applications, of course, the choice of decking is prescribed by mandatory specifications. scafom-rux decking: its modern design promises not only easy handling and outstanding stability, but also optimal stackability. Decking can be supplied in 2 different versions: 6 as system decking made of steel, timber or aluminium (highly economical, with simultaneous use in scafom-rux facade scaffolds), or as steel planks for tubular bearings (particularly successful in industrial scaffolding). A must in industrial scaffolding: non-system steel planks with non-slip rubber surface, for instance in corner positions. Toe boards: timber or aluminium. Protrusions and recesses, scaffolding round pipes, bays and other challenges are thus reduced to mere trifles. With the help of telescopic ledgers, you can adjust the system to any irregular dimensions without having to fall back on tubes and couplers. The horizontal ledgers are designed for easy installation by one assembly operator alone. They can no longer be dislodged, as was once the case in conventional modular scaffolds.

The connection between standard and ledger reaches its maximum statical value by applying a light hammer stroke to the captive wedge in the head of the ledger hook. 8 There is not always a second assemblyman close by to help. However, this does not mean that the erection of RUX VARIANT has to stop. The horizontal ledgers are designed for easy installation by one assembly operator alone. They can no longer be dislodged, as was once the case in conventional modular scaffolds. A form-fit connection is already created just by placing the ledger into position and inserting the wedge. The round breaker plate allows optimal adjustment to the building. Stepless adjustment to any angle is possible. A light hammer stroke on the captive wedge is sufficient to ensure perfect locking. This turns the connection, which is already form-fit, into a secure, force-fit joint.

9 Easy assembly: the way to a basic scaffold A standard lead-off adapter is attached to the screw jack and aligned to fit the application. Then the horizontal connections are levelled to ensure vertical alignment of the scaffold.
