3 Universal scaffolding system plettac-pl PDM Application A characteristic feature of plettac PDM system is the use of wedge joint which provides quick and safe assembly. The connection of PDM joint is performed by sliding the transom head over the vertical standard rosette and inserting the wedge. Plettac PDM modular scaffolding may be used as: spatial construction facade scaffolding working platforms at heights supporting structures mobile scaffolding hanging scaffolding In addition, based on PDM scaffolding we may built exterior stairways to create communication between scaffolding floors. Stairways may be used as free-standing construction or construction built into the modular scaffold PDM. Advantages of modular PDM scaffolding: quick jointing technique functionality of components easy and quick assembly and disassembly unlimited range of unusual designs constructions This type of scaffolding may be combined with the frame system plettac PD 70/100. 4 Introduction Universal joint It is possible to use O type transom, U type transom and PDM platform transom. Scaffolding joint is created by sliding the head into the rosette and inserting the wedge into one of the holes. This protects the component from falling out or shifting. By gently tapping the wedge with a hammer we create a rigid connection between the components.
