2 ADDENDUM NO. Page MVUD Technical Specifications & Design Criteria for Water Supply & Distribution Facilities This Addendum forms a part of and modifies the Document dated February 00. Changes to Technical Specifications. Section 3, Paragraph 3.7.A Tapping Sleeves. Change to read as follows: Tapping sleeves shall consist of an ASTM A-36 steel body, AWWA C07 Class D steel ring flange and designed to fit tapping valve lip per MSS SP-60. Outlet gasket shall be manufactured of NBR meeting ASTM D000. Bolts and nuts shall be high strength, low alloy steel meeting requirements of AWWA C. The sleeve shall contain a ¾-inch test plug. Coating shall be fusion bonded epoxy or corrosion resistant shop coat paint primer. Tapping sleeves shall be rated for a working pressure of 7 psi. The steel tapping sleeve shall be manufactured by Romac Industries, Style FTS40 or JCM Industries 4.. Section 3, Paragraph 3.4.D Water Meters. Delete reference to Sensus Omni Meters. 3. Section 3, Paragraph 3..B. Meter. Delete reference to Sensus Omni Meters. 4. Section 6, Paragraph 6.0.J Water Line-Sanitary Sewer/Storm Drainage Relationships. Revise second sentence to read as follows: A minimum of eighteen (8) inches of vertical separation is required. Changes to Standard Details.
