Opening date has changed to MARCH 2, 18. All other times and details remain unchanged. Tentatively, the evaluation of submission and final selection decision will be pushed back until April 2, 18 and is subject to change by the City. 2. The PROPOSAL FORM has changed as follows (new PROPOSAL FORM attached): a. Item completion of work has changed to 10 calendar days. b. Lump Sum Price has been changed to include Alternate Bid Nos. 1 and 2. DRAWINGS: 1. SHEET ME1.0 Add a note that describes ALTERNATE BID ITEM NO. 2 as follows: ALTERNATE BID NO. 2 PROVISION OF TEMPORARY CHILLER FOR THE DURATION OF INSTALLED CHILLER DOWNTIME A. PROVIDE A PORTABLE TEMPORARY AIR-COOLED WATER CHILLER WITH PUMP TO PROVIDE CHILLED WATER IN ADEQUATE CAPACITY TO PROVIDE COOLING TO THE BUILDING FROM THE TIME THE EXISTING CHILLER IS SHUTDOWN FOR REMOVAL UNTIL THE REPLACEMENT CHILLER IS SUCCESSFULLY RUNNING AND PRODUCING ADEQUATE CHILLED WATER. B. THE WORK OF THIS ALTERNATE SHALL INCLUDE MAKING TAPS TO THE EXISTING CHILLED WATER CIRCULATING SYSTEM AND PROVIDING ISOLATING VALVES TO ALLOW FOR THE WORK OF THE PRIMARY PROJECT TO PROCEED SAFELY AND UNIMPEDED BY THE TEMPORARY CONNECTIONS. C. SPACE FOR LOCATION OF THE TEMPORARY CHILLER AND TEMPORARY HOSE ROUTING PATH WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE OF THE EXISTING PIPING LOCATIONS. D. PROVISIONS FOR CONNECTION OF TEMPORARY POWER WILL BE AVAILABLE NEAR THE EXISTING CHILLER WITH A LIMITATION OF 20AMPS/8VOLTS/3PHASE. 2 of

THE TEMPORARY SERVICES SHALL BE CONFIGURED IN A MANNER TO KEEP THE PUBLIC AREA AND WORK AREA SAFE AND SHALL INCLUDE ADEQUATE BARRICADES, PIPE AND CABLE BRIDGES AND OTHER SUCH APPURTENANCES AS TO NOT IMPEDE NORMAL FOOT OR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC. F. THE WORK OF THE ALTERNATE SHALL INCLUDE ALL MOBILIZATION, TEMPORARY CONNECTIONS, SAFETY MEASURES, HOUR SERVICE DURING OPERATION, REMOVAL, CLEANUP AND RESTORATION OF ANY FINISHES DAMAGED AS THE RESULT OF THE INSTALLATION. 2. SHEET M.1 Allow a substitution request for a stainless steel or fiberglass with stainless steel hardware and internal components cross-flow cooling tower with vertical discharge and same performance as scheduled. As with all substitutions, the substitute shall have the same or better quality and performance as the specified components. The proposed substitution shall be complete with all modifications and any upgrades to related components such as wire size, VFD size, piping connections, supports and other such items as required to allow the substituted system to fully perform without additional first cost or operational cost to the project. 3. SHEET E1.: a. On plan 2/E1. - ELECTRICAL ROOF PLAN NEW, keyed note referencing an outdoor (NEMA3R) panel was inadvertently used twice. Retain the keyed note shown on the exterior of the mechanical penthouse and delete the keyed note for the one shown inside of the penthouse. Insert keyed note 3 pointing to the new panelboard inside the penthouse adjacent to the door into the elevator equipment room. b. In ROOF ELEC KEYED NOTES modify Keyed Note 3 to read as follows: NEW PANEL R 00A MCB, NEMA 1. REF. PANELBOARD SCHEDULE. c. Add Panelboard Schedule for Panel R to Sheet E1.. Panelboard Schedule attached. QUESTIONS FROM BIDDERS: A. A question came up in the pre-bid meeting regarding provision of a temporary rental chiller for use during downtime of the installed chiller; RESPONSE: Reference item 1 above. B. A question about the configuration of new Panel R RESPONSE: Reference attached panelboard schedule and correction of keyed notes on Sheet E1. C. A question as to the identity of the roofing contractor for City Hall. 3 of
