Introduction InConsult Engineers is an Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) Professional Service Provider (PSP) Consultancy firm based in South African which was founded in Since 1990, the partner members of InConsult Engineers have been providing professional multidisciplinary engineering services, i.e. civil and structural engineering services for public and private infrastructure-related developments, as well as project and contract management services. InConsult Engineers is committed to providing only the best professional services to all its clients. We are able to provide a higher level of professional service than the norm, as our clients deal directly with either of the two member partners on every stage of the project. Due to our flexible nature, InConsult Engineers is capable of undertaking a wide variety of projects. Essentially we provide engineering consultancy services in the following mainstream sectors: Bulk & Internal Civil Engineering Services (Water, Sewer, Roads, Bulk Earthworks and Stormwater) Structural Engineering Services (Steel, Concrete Structures, Buildings and Platforms) Procurement / Tender Documentation and Evaluation /Adjudication Services Contract Documentation, Contract Management and Contract Administration Services Project Management Services InConsult Engineers operate mainly within the Western and Eastern Cape Regions. Partner Members and Brief History 2.1 Timothy Jones (Pr Eng, Pr CPM, NQF 7 Lic, MSAICE) After obtaining a bursary and completing his studies, Tim started his working career with the Port Elizabeth Municipality (PEM) in January During 1996 he accepted an offer from Africon Engineering (Aurecon) and started working within their Port Elizabeth office. After gaining sufficient experience he joined Engineering Advice & Services (EAS) in 1999 and soon become one of the partners. In March 2007 he started and founded InConsult Engineers, specialising in professional consultancy services for structural engineering. Tim is a specialist in civil engineering infrastructural and structural design as well as in IT and GIS related systems. As a partner member in InConsult and the previous firm, he has managed and undertaken a wide variety of projects where he has been responsible for project management, project planning, design, contract documentation, contract management and construction site monitoring. He has also been the principle agent on projects where he was responsible for coordinating the various professional disciplines on behalf of the Client. A short but detailed curriculum vitae (CV), indicting the various projects and work experience, is available on request (or may be attached). 2.2 Joubert Nell (Pr Eng Tech, NQF 7 Lic, MSAICE) After obtaining a bursary and completing his studies, Joubert started working for Aurecon, then Van Wyk & Louw (VWL) during January In July 2001 he was promoted to Technical Associate and thereafter Technical Director while working in the Design & Contract Division. 4 During November 2009, after more than 20 years with Aurecon, he joined Engineering Advice and Services (EAS). In April 2013 Joubert joined InConsult Engineers as a partner member to promote and expand the civil engineering services division. Joubert has many years experience in diverse civil engineering projects. His speciality disciplines include township development & services, water and sanitation projects, procurement and tender documentation, contract documentation, contract management and contract administration.
