6 HISTORY & PHILOSOPHY Shabelle Engineering and Logistics Company began as a general works contractor in 2014 in Somalia. In just 2 years, we have grown to undertake most ambitious and challenging projects in somalia, accumulated practical skills and experience in design and build solutions, project management services, building trades, logistics and supply chain management and registered in Somalia as a certified engineering and logistics company in February Today, we are taking Somali s construction and logistics industry by storm: we are the main contractors of medium size and high-end projects and perform project management services while handling logistical and supply chain components. We also provide design inputs and engineering solutions as value-add services to our clients. 9 GENERAL ENGINEERING We provide both civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering works and consulting services to all sorts of buildings including commercial and residential buildings, dams, roads, airports, piers, boreholes, warehouses, fuel refineries, fuel pipelines, railways and any other construction of any kind. EARTHWORKS We are more independent of subcontractor pricing since we house an earthworks division. This has enhanced our ability to provide a competitive bid to agencies and in turn the rate payers that they serve. DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS Integral to the successful implementation of housing projects is the capacity to manage the overall project. This function entails the overall project management, from the sourcing of land, bulk and link infrastructure, appointment and management of the professional team, and the physical delivery of the project, be it civil infrastructure/housing and/or BOTH PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT We develop properties for our own and/or client s account. This incorporates all of the aspects as outlined under Turnkey Design and Construct but includes the procurement of project finance (both development and term finance).

As a multiservice provider, we offer a full range of services that include 3PL, 4PL, line haul, multi-modal specific services, primary and secondary transport. Through our high tech track and trace systems, we keep a close eye on cargo and when it comes to crossborder transportation, our regional footprint gives customers the edge. We also offer bulk value added solutions and dedicated contract transportation, and operate national and international truckloads (TL) and less-than-truckloads (LTL) via road, rail or intermodal transportation DISTRIBUTION SOLUTIONS Whether a customer needs to distribute product in bulk or break-bulk, or move product from country to country, district to district or direct to the store, we identify the best solution.
