1 Data sheet ENIGMA MATROX A TENUTA DESCRIPTION Enigma Matrox a Tenuta is the compact false ceiling system made up of metal tiles installed with Matrox hidden structure, suitable to be equipped with Atena antiseismic kit on request. Conceived to reduce the air exchange between the plenum and the environment, tiles are supplied with a special neoprene gasket to be installed, on site, along all sides of the tiles and between panels and perimeter profiles. Determine the height of the ceiling with a level and mark it with a string. Install structure and tiles as following: 1. Install the perimeter profiles using properly screw and nuts suitable to the material of walls. 2. Proceed with the installation of hangers according project requirement. 3. Install main channels at a distance of 1200 mm, or according to project requirements. 4. Insert the mobilio clips and the hooking springs on mobilio tubular profiles. A B C 5. Proceed with the installation of mobilio tubular profiles at a distance of 600 mm. 6. Install the neoprene gasket in the tiles groove on two sides only, see E detail. 7. Slacken the screw of the mobilio clip to insert the Matrox tile previously with sealing gasket; Set Matrox tiles exerting a slight pressure, by paying attention to avoid the detachement of the gasket. Check the direction of tiles installation before clipping-in; sides with sealing gasket must be placed end-to-end with the free ones of the subsequent panels. 8. To complete the installation, ensure the structure with the safety spring: hook the upper side of the spring to the tubular profile and insert the lower part into the hole of the panel. Safety spring hooking detail ANTISEISMIC KIT INSTALLATION STEPS Fix the cross joint with self-drilling screws to the C channels (The arrangement of C channels will be set according project requirement). 2. Secure all punched bars using screws and M6 nuts. 3. Fix the antiseismic punched bars to the floor. PERIMETER PROFILE 33mm 18mm 25mm As perimeter frame will be used C 25x33x18 mm profiles with omega springs, which exerts a steady pressure on the seal, ensuring a high level of tightness. Post painting with TGIC polyester powder (60 microns minimum thickness, without matte pearlescent lead) applied trough electrostatic process; the thermosetting powder used is based on saturated carboxyl polyester resins, selected for their high stability to light and heat. Antibacterial painting on request. Hidden Structure: Hidden structure: tubular profiles with 22 mm diameter set in parallel (with the same distance of tiles) and orthogonally fixed on C main runners 49x27 in galvanised steel 6/10 (set with inter axe of 1,2 lm or according project requirements) through an holding spring. Tiles edges will be properly shaped to be clip in their hidden structure using the mobilio spring. Tubular mobilio profiles will be installed at a distance of 600 mm between each other. Galvanised round bars 4 mm diameter with a lenght according to the plenum. Adjustable suspension system through hangers with hook spring. Sealing system: The false ceiling installed according Atena instructions will be completely sealed and will meet the cleanliness requirements; it will present a compact and uniform result with a perfect separation between plenum and the environment below. The sealing of the system is guaranteed by the application, on site, of a special neoprene gasket on the panel edges, which will be properly shaped for the perfect adhesion. The false ceiling will have a steel perimeter profile having a C 25x33x18mm section, equipped with sealing gasket and omega spring to push tiles on it, assuring the uniformity and sealing of the system. Data sheet ENIGMA MATROX A TENUTA - rev 9 of 18/01/ pag. 6 of 8 AIR PERMEABILITY NUMBER REPORT 119/13 Negative pressure Positive pressure AIR PROOFING The ceiling MATROX A TENUTA has been tested according to ASME MCF-14M:1995 UNI EN ISO /A1:2000 by Treviso Technology Laboratory Cert using a semi-automatic computerized system of measurement and control, able to measure, through devices at different pressure, air flow and pressure into a test room. Matrox a Tenuta system is the right system for false ceilings in environments that require a high level of environmental health such as hospitals, laboratories industrial kitchens etc... The use of a neoprene gasket assure the total sealing of the system. It has to be installed directly in yard between tiles and on perimeter profiles where a spring has to be insert to create a right pressure. The system does not require the use of additional sealants, tiles can be temporarily removed for normal operations of maintenance. ANTIBACTERIAL TREATMENT In order to maintain an high hygiene standard in all sanitary rooms, Atena tiles can be coated with a special mixture of epoxy and polyester resins, which has a specific power of disinfecting and keeping hygene on surfaces. This painting is available in a wide range of colours, brightness and finishing. Tests on coated samples, according to ISO 22196:2007, proved 95% reduction of pathogenic agents in 24 hours. Chemical tests have proved its high resistance level to salt corrosion.

7 Data sheet ENIGMA MATROX A TENUTA - rev 9 of 18/01/ pag. 7 of 8 STORAGE MODE Materials supplied by Atena S.p.A. shall be maintained in good condition from purchase to installation. Materials must be stored in a closed, clean and dry site. Atena S.p.A. protects its products with resistant packaging under normal handling. Please handle packages with care to avoid shocks and inappropriate handling that might damage what is provided. Tiles are packaged in brown cardboard boxes with stripe and delivered on pallets secured with cellophane. The manual handling must be carried out with caution and in compliance with safety regulations at work. For carriage of packaged products on pallets, provide a mechanical transport to avoid damages or risks resulting from inadequate transport. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Cleaning and maintenance require some attention and care even though are easy to make and don t take much time. It is necessary to use neutral and not aggressive soaps. In case of any damage, tiles can be repainted or replaced. False ceilings maintenance usually refers to: placing, alignment or replacement of damaged or broken tiles. Panels can be also removed for restoration or maintenence of the system below. The maintenance work shall be appointed to:specialised workers trained with technical data sheets about setting, removal and maintenance of the false ceilings, in order to ensure excellent results. The tiles shall be taken off with the use of a specific tool supplied by Atena S.p.A. which allows the tiles removal without damaging the structure. Using inadequate tools can damage the structure, causing adherence loss or even accidental panel fall. All the maintenance intervention must follow the technical data sheet indication and every noted diversity has to be promptly reported. Each worker assigned with maintenance operation must carefully remove the tile, perform the intervention and do not alter the false ceiling structure, the hanging system and the connection between these elements. When the maintenance is over, install again the panels, verifying that the tiles are properly hooked on the profiles and the planarity is guaranteed. Any difference in tiles level is caused by wrong installation and, for this reason, they must be quickly controlled. Atena s.p.a. atena-it.com

Data sheet ENIGMA MATROX A TENUTA - rev 9 of 18/01/ pag. 8 of 8 LAWS REFERENCE AND WARRANTY Each Atena false ceiling is produced for internal use according to the technical rules for construction EUROCODICE and the specific regulations UNI EN 13964:2014, 14195:2005. Each Atena S.p.A. product has its own DOP (Declaration Of Performance) CE according to the European Law 305/2011. False ceilings and claddings for internal and external use have to be dimensioned on environment features, to list some of the possible examples: earthquakes, wind, thermal expansion, place of installation, use destination of the building and project requests. Indipendently by information, suggestions, advices and technical opinions exchanged between the parts, Atena S.p.A. will produce its products only according to the orders received and the technical drawings/projects attached, having no responsibility on what is not indicated in the order, in the technical drawings or in the project. Atena S.p.A., as producer, is responsible for manufacturing defects. Complaints have to be presented according to the selling conditions. Materials used for Atena false ceilings have been produced just with this purpose, every other use is considered improper.
